Ørbæk Fynsk Forår
Very refreshing beer. Floral nose and grassy and bready. Pour is very spritely, Lots of little streams of very fast bubbles, and a light hazy gold. Taste is light ale, with a distinctive floral note from elder flowers. But this isn't sweet. Taste is almost like a Witbier, just nothing is really hammering home the taste so it's lacking in depth. Still a lovely summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ørbæk Coast is Clear
Dark golden , a bit hazy. Malty, honey, sweet aroma, malty sweet taste. What else? It is malty sweet, medium carbonation, even full bodied due to sweetness. Some alcohol in aftertaste. Ok. It is sweet I still like it.

330ml bottle pours a hazy blonde color with a finger of white head that retains well and leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is floral with some grass and grains and hints of citrus. Taste is a light citrus and grassy hop bitterness with a light fruity and malty sweetness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent brew that suits the style well. Slightly recommended.

Miltei kirkas keskiruskea olut vaahtoaa kohtalaisesti, mutta vaahto katoaa nopeasti kokonaan. Tuoksu maltainen, luumuisen rusinainen ja makea. Maultaan olut on makean maltainen, luumuinen ja rusinainen. Melko imelän maltainen jälkimaku, ei juuri happamuutta. Keskitäyteläinen suutuntuma, ei hiilihappoja juuri lainkaan. Pehmeä jouluinen ale on ihan lempeän lämmittävä ja pehmeän makea pläjäys.

Ørbæk Choco Ale
Flaske 0,5 liter. En rigtig god dessert øl med bid i, for selvom der er en god chokolade smag i denne øl, er det samtidig også en god porter med god eftersmag og uden at den bliver for sød i smagen.

Huge beige head. Nearly opaque black body with faint brown glow at bottom. Earthy licorice aroma with mealy sugary notes. Dry-sweet earthy licorice taste with salty roasty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish earthy licorice aftertaste with roasty salty notes. Not very complicated, but vivid, clear, and harmonic. I like it. (0.5l bottle, from SuperBrugsen Fredericia.)

Big offwhite head. Hazy deep yellow body with visible particles. Spicy fruity aroma with licorice, toffee, and corn. Dry-sweet grainy strawy fruity taste with spicy herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity strawy grainy aftertaste with corn and spice notes. Nice and drinkable. Initially, I thought it was oxidized, but it turns out to be something closer to a Lithuanian malt flavour. Not sure what’s really been going on. (0.75l bottle, from SuperBrugsen Jellinge.)

Ørbæk Fionia Abbey Ale
Pours amber colour with huge and foamy beige head that leaves moderate-heavy lacing. Aroma of fruity sweetness with nuts, caramel and yeasty notes. Not really strong scent, but still noticeable and delightful. Sweetish, moderate to heavy, caramel malty flavour with touch of hops, yeast and some fruit as well - could be richer and with more depth, but is somewhat hidden behind a high alcocol profile. Brown sugar and sweet, warming alcohol in the finish, however with little watery palate. Not the best as such, but still a decent attempt.

Pour dark black. Beige thick foam good retention. Nose - liquorice, chocolate and roasted malt aromas. Taste dominated by the added liquorice and this dominates and supres the more fragile malt aromas from the speciality malts. The beer is nice but I Prefer RIS without liquorice added.

Ørbæk Umami Øl Med Trøffel
Bottle. 6.5%. Best before 27.08.17. Pours a hazy straw yellow, with a white head. Good lacing. Sweetish aroma. Hops, a bit citrusy, hay/grass, grainy, light dusty. Light tart note at first, which turns a wee bit sour as it warms. Flavour is a bit fat, grainy, with a light citrus/orange note, grass and a peculiar, light off-note; probably the truffles. Grainy finish, a bit tart, with a lingering mild alcohol burn. A bit too much carbonation. Overall so-so; too grainy and I’m not really getting any particular umami feel. Meh. 04.07.16.

Bottle. 6.5%. Best before 04.08.17. Pours almost black with a dark tan head. Okay lacing. Sweet, roasted aroma. Light coffee note. Hints of chocolate and chili as it warms, the latter increasing a bit with further warming. Flavour is roasted and a bit dusty, with a light chili note. Fledgling hint of hops. Dusty, in a somewhat smokey kind of way, finish with a lingering chili burn. A wee bit too much carbonation. Overall good, with a potent but not overdone chili burn. Not a lot of chocolate though. 02.07.16.

Thank you Bamsen78 for that one ! Well, sometimes name and piwo do not match as from my point of view chili was missing all around. As I am used to spicy food it was maybe not chili enough. Anyway, a good stout with decent chocolate and malt combined with some nuts and a touch of milk. I liked that one definitely.

bottle from menu. cloudy yellow, large white head that doesn’t last long. Fresh mineral water like aroma, with subtle notes of hops and sweet malts and a hint of what might be described as sour dough. flavor is malty, not fresh, herbal bitterness, tastes a lot like your typical lager, slightly more not-us-hoppy bitterness, and a strange subtle sweet base to it all. Not sure i like it that much, and i don’t recognize the herbal stuff as truffles, but it might be.

Copenhagen 23/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Something that looks like an mask or the caricature of a negro on the label. Not entirely politically correct. A little motto as well: "Dark and sweet as the African Night". Pours opaque dark brown with light beige head. Settles as thin patches of foam floating around. Aroma is very sweet with a lot of chocolate. Caramel and a a little citric sourness, Coffee bitterness. Light carbonation and oily palate. Taste is quite sweet as well. On the verge of being nauseating. Followed by light coffee bitterness and a little sourness. Aftertaste is bitter sweet. Those African nights certainly seems to be overwhelmingly sweet.

13-JUN-2016, bottle @home, from Kvickly. Dark, dark brown, almost black with a lasting, high tan head. Roasted aroma with chocolate. Taste is roast with chocolate as well, and then a nice little chili burn. If you brew a chili beer you should taste the chili, and I do.
