One of my favorite Amber Ale's and like most of Okult's beer. unique personal touch to it. Amberish colored beer, nice foam, and solid and easy taste.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen. ABV 5.0. Amber kleurig, licht troebel bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma is licht fruiig.

Valt me heel erg mee.

Draught: The last of Okults brew, unless there are a stash somewhere. Poured a reddish amber with thick off white head. The aroma was dark bark and leafy. The flavor was roasted malt with hint of leafy dry finish.

Orange-amberish colored beer with big white-orangey head. This beer has the smell of asitic furniture and has touches of a swetting horse. Afther a while there are some cheezy and rotten pumpkin accents that are comming up. This has indeed a very strange nose. The taste is light and has a watery impression on the middel pallet. Then the very dry bitterness is comming up. The beer has a lively caracter but the balans is going nowhere. The bitterness is unrefined and the afthertaste is bitterish and medicinal.

Nice faint hazy beer with golden blond color and with fine light orange glow. Faint off white fluffy head with yellowish shine. It has a mild aroma of dry cookies, summer flowers, fresh stone fruits and some lemon-grass. Taste is slight bitter and refreshing. It has a nice malty accent with a dry caracter. The mouthfeel is medium boddied and the afthertaste is crispy bitter.

(Bottled) Hazy-opaque, light golden color with a largeish, foamy head. Strong, honey-citric aroma with grassy hopping. Very fruity, citric-hoppy, witbier-spicy flavor. Medium-bodied, oily, very refreshing, quite carbonated palate with well-hidden alcohol. A very nice and refreshing, strong-tasting spring brew!

(Bottled, BBE 1/2005) Very hazy amber with a tanned, large head. Caramely, slightly winous aroma with toffee and strawberry. Quite strong, fruity berry flavor with a toffee-caramely feel. Medium-bodied, quite low-carbonated palate. Quite original, but reasonably tasty brew.

(Bottled, BBE 12/2004) Very hazy, light golden color with lots of floating yeast and a large, cloudy, white head. Mild, slightly buttery, acidic and fruity aroma. Dryish, malty and citric-hoppy flavor. Medium-bodied, dryish and carbonated palate. A quite pleasant, dryish and tasty brew.

A quite nice blonde, fruity, dry aftertaste. Seemed quite clean to me, not so much soapy as others have said, mine was crisp, very nice on the palate, huge head poured, would take this beer home anyday!

The red beer of the Brasserie Artisanal de Redange has improved, my bottled sample has a creamy head, not lasting enormously long but leaves a residual amount after a few minutes a colour of dusky red/orange, the aroma is of spicy malt, yum yum. The flavour begins with a slight sherbet bflavour on the front of the toungue, washing over the palate to pervade the tastebuds with a medium intensity malty/orangy/fruity flavour. When tha flavour eventually gets to the back of the mouth the gentle hop character comes in - dryly while the rest of the mouth ’sparkles’ with the flavour. This is my favourite of their beers. Note now available in crates of 24x33cl bottles, not just the 6pack cardboard boxes, and available at all Cactus supermarkets in the Grand Duché. Proost

Citrus grapefruit aroma. Hazy, yellow color, large white head, fair lace. Sweet, light grapefruit flavor, light bitter, little yeasty, unbalanced but covered by the sweetness.

Unclear yellow beer with a fine head. The aroma is very light malty. The flavor is malty with notes of coriander and the body is thin. A boring beer.

This bottled version has a large Duvel like self generating white head, the aroma is of honey, hops and a little raisiny. The colour is a gold/dusky gold(if you add the sediment) The flavour is of honey and fine malts, with the sediment the flavour becomes more solid with a pronounced yeastiness - no wonder. It finishes off very softly with an aftertaste of crystalised malt, yum, yum, I’m going to have some of this in the cellar for special occasions ! I would like to add also there is a draught version too. In it's draught version the beer is a cloudy gold colour, a sweetish hoppy aroma with a quickly subsiding head, but a better flavour than the bottled version - more complex.

Gushing to huge orangey head, not stable, on top of totally hazy, dull amber ale. THIS time I find jbrus' soapiness; citrussy-perfumed indeed. Couloured malts, a bit roasted, or roasted peanuts. Bland bitter taste with perfumed malt surrounding. Soapy - again. Retronasal I get peanuts all over again. Medium-bodied. Bitterness ends up harsh, totally unrefined. Ouch. This one hasn't any bettered since I first sampled Okult. The Blonde N°3 is by far their best try.

Apricot colour, hazy. creamy-yellowish head. Very yeasty smell, grainy. Bit of orange zest. Vaguely brettanomyces, leather? Very grainy taste, too, bitter, citrussy, kumquat. Hop only retronasal. Faint perfumed flavours. refreshing mouthfeel, dry but not referring to sugar. Citrus keeps in the aftertaste. This is nice - a blonde like I'd wish more were made.Nothing spectacular, just decent craftmanship.

Strange brew! Very artificial lemon aroma like dishwashing soap. Cloudy, yellow, white frothy head, good lace. Soapy lemon flavor, medium body, short finish. Did they use soap to clean the equipement?
