Millstream Fuzz Peach Kolsch
12oz bottle. Hazy light orange-tan body. Pronounced unappetizing canned peach aroma. Medium to light bodied. Tastes like an insipid, poorly brewed Blonde with neutered, forced peach tones. Really not that good.

Hazed pale yellow, Light head, foamy. ARoma is clove, lemon citrus, Maybe hints of banana. I remember this being more bublegumy than it is now. Its dry tart light and lemony, minerally almost diety. Use to like this more, havenít had it in years.

Well, you know. This smells and tastes like a lager mixed with fresh peach. No, the peach isnít overwhelming. Yes, itís a little strange. Not really my thing, but an okay Fruit Beer option for a scorcher.

Cask @ Happy Hnome. Deep brown with a small head. Nose is aggressive. Grape fruit leather and lots of chocolate. Some marshmallow. Flavor is quite sweet. Concord grape jelly, light nuttiness, chocolate. a bit too sweet and heavy handed to be enjoyable, but they nailed the PBJ character.

Millstream Back Road Stout
Draft at Iowa Taproom, De Monies. 3-16-2016,from notes. Raven feather black color, no head when it arrived at the table. The aroma is bitter chocolate, some grain and chocolate notes. The flavor is bitter chocolate, weak roast and a bit of sugar. Nice dry finish with a somewhat smooth mouthfeel. This breweries standard stout offering. Really weak in the body category. Not bad just very ordinary.

Millstream Fuzz Peach Kolsch
Bottle. Pale yellow body with a bright white colored head. The nose has light peaches that seems mostly natural. There is also some bright floral character. The taste has light dough and finishes with artificial peach candy. There is also some bit of bread crust and little bit of green tea in each drink. Overall, this is actually light and refreshing but certainly not sweet. High carbonation and a light body make this a good warm weather brew. Decent.

Millstream Brewmasterís Extreme Series Hoppy-Feaster Wit IP Eah?
Cloudy straw color with a tall slightly off-white head. Presence of fish food as well. Decent aromas with light yeast, mild citrus and spice. Flavors are simple with cream, pale malts, bit of yeast, vanilla and cloves. A decent hoppy wit, actually along the lines of Schneider Hopenweisse. A noble task decently done. 1/15

Millstream Hop≤ Double IPA
Amber to copper in color. Moderate, dense, khaki colored head. Some lace. Pine, resin and citrus all seem to make it in the nose. Quite a bit of caramel and toffee in the aroma as well. Even with all the scents, it seems disjointed and not quite clean. Quite malty in flavor, with caramel leading the way. A touch of floor cleaning (citrus ) seem to kick in mid quaff. Finish has some woody elements and pine. Just seems to be a confused brew. 12/12

Bottle. A- Peach, gummies, wheat. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Peaches, gummies, wheat. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly off balanced finish. O- Kind of like peachie-o candies but a bit more artificial. Like a peach gummy. The peach was there and it was soft but too much fake taste going on. Could have been a lot better.

Millstream Weizenbock
I liked this a lot more than I expected. Brown color, initially a head that quickly fades to nothing. Aroma has sweet wheat and banana. Sweet beer, more banana and wheat flavor, lightly roasted, alcohol is hidden but there is a mineral quality and it seems very close to a German example.

Bottle. A- Candy corn, caramel, marshmallow, cocoa. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, light brown head. T- Marshmallow, cocoa, caramel, slightly sweet. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- What an odd beer. I figured it would be loaded with pumpkin pie spice and have a dry malty base. Nope. Smells like liquid marshmallow peeps and candy corn. A legit Halloween beer. Some caramel too. Tastes about like it smells. Odd, but really good actually.

An okay amber. Near to no aroma. The flavor is a bit off. The malts taste like they were roasted just a bit too long, and the hops add a level of surprising astringency.

Millstream Schokolade Bock
Bottle. A- Malty, subtle toffee. A- Dark brown color, clear liquid, beige head. T- Iron, watery, malty, subtle bread. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, boring finish. O- To make a short story long, a Dunkler Bock was one of my last styles to try. Searched for ever and everywhere to find one. Finally came across this a few days after I finally found a Dunker Bock (Anchor Bock to be exact). I loved the Anchor and was excited to try my second Dunkler Bock now. Well, this sucked. I expected it to have a fair amount of chocolate in it with some other nice notes but not so. It was very malty. Lots of blood/iron taste to it and very boring. A bland beer.

12 oz single bottle from Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits. Clear amber/brown appearance with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, nutty malts, vanilla, light caramel, light toffee and a hint of fruity esters. Millstream Back Road Stout
Pours black with very tan to brown head that quickly dissipates. The aroma, caramel, sour, coffe, and small amounts of roast. The flavor is caramel and sweet up feont followed by roasty, coffee, and some chocolate. Leaves a sour or astringent flavor at the end. Body is a but sweet and thick. Overall think if it had more flavors up front.

Millstream Great Pumpkin Imperial Stout
12 oz bottle from Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits - Muscatine. Deep, dark brown appearance with a small, lingering, light brown head. Aroma of candy corn, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, nutmeg, marshmallow, light fruity esters and light toffee. Similar flavor, medium plus artificial sweetness with moderate spices and a touch of bitterness. Medium body with a kind of thin feel and soft carbonation. Not awful, but kind of weird overall. This should probably be listed under the Spice/Herb/Vegetable style.
