exeter	3.2 Brew Brothers Ambush IPA Came from a 1.89L bottle for $15 Canadian. Poured a small head that faded fast. No lacing. A few bubbles coming up 15 minutes later. Tastes like a beginners IPA. Some bitterness. Carmel, grassy. Medium sweetness. Nothing Horrible, nothing great. Refills of the 1.89L bottle are $10. On their website they no longer call it an IPA Saturday, November 30, 2013
yrstruly	3.7 Brew Brothers Amarillo IPA On cask at Cask Days. Pours hazy gold with minimal head (its on cask). Aroma of pine, fruit juice and bubble gum. Really light and fresh. Taste is clean bitterness the whole way through, just enough malt to stand up to the hops. Nice! Sunday, October 27, 2013

thehead92	3.6 Brew Brothers Black Pilsner Pours a dark brown mahogany color with a creamy light head that clings to the glass leaving some lacing behind. Nose is dark malts, coffee, and a touch of floral hops. Light in body and a bit thinner than I anticipated. Taste is sweet roasted malts and lots of fresh brewed coffee followed by notes of burnt toast and a hint of alcohol.Enjoyable brew. Saturday, August 3, 2013

Nose is nearly sterile, there’s really nothing going on here... Flavours are creamy, soft, and wheat-driven. Perhaps the most inoffensive beer I’ve ever had. No flaws, but also no assets. Taste is unique for an IPA with some earthy and malt sweetness that does not show up in most IPA’s. The finish is a pleasing bitterness that is not over the top. reebtogi	3.9 Brew Brothers Alberta Gold 1L swingtop bottle that poured dark amber to brown with beige head and nice fine lacing. Aromas of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is malty sweet with some hints of chocolate and cherry and a smooth hoppy finish. Body is medium and carbonation is good giving a nice tingle on the tongue. Powertrip	3.7 Brew Brothers Tumblewheat First time trying this beer in over 10 years! I lost my old tasting note on it. Had a Mason jar full on tap at the Amsterdamn Rhino pub in Calgary, AB on 07/02/2011. Colour: Extremely bright yellow. Nose: as expected, super fresh hard red spring wheat, lively yeast, freshly but grass. Taste: Medium-light sweet, light bitter, light sour. A healthy serving of orange citrus and a delicious but mellow custard taste late. Thumbs up. Sunday, July 3, 2011

Nose: Very grainy, strong barley and malt presence, some funky hop induced herbs and a dash of pepper. Taste: Light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium sour. Young fruit - white grape and lime. Powertrip	3.4 Brew Brothers Ambush IPA Mason jar of this on tap at Amsterdam Rhino pub in Calgary, AB on 07/02/2011. Colour: Dark orange with little to no head. Nose: Common to Brew Bros beers, a strong grain presence - grass too. A smattering of dishwater, some mild baked apple. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-light bitter, light sour. Lubiere	2.9 Brew Brothers Ambush IPA Bottle is most likely 2 years old. A dark amber IPA with a thick collapsing moka head. Aroma is quite interesting, veering on barley wine territory, with fine maderization, some hops remnants, quite nice. In mouth, this is a rather sweet interpretation of the style, with honey, light lactic points, some corn syrup. Based on other ratings, I read that this one was sweet to start with.....cant remember if igot this in a trade (from Kris or Trev) or when i was in AB last time. Monday, January 31, 2011

Powertrip	3.6 Brew Brothers Prairie Steamer Had it on tap at District in Calgary. They call it "Gonzo", not Prairie Steamer but its apparently the same beer. Fairly dark with nose of sweet caramel and herbs. Sweet taste with a generous portion of vanilla and caramel. A nice malty background added balance. Creamy palate and the finish was again caramely. MrRoss	1.3 Brew Brothers Antonios Original Garlic Pils Garlic good, beer good; garlic and beer in the same bottle = bad. At least this came in a nice swing top bottle. From the instant the stopper was popped, yikes!! ....rather a strong garlic smell like a punch to the nose. I was expecting "some" hint of garlic but nothing like this. Onward I ventured, pouring the slightly cloudy medium gold, with the modest white head. Coming from the bottom of the bottle was what I thought might be sediment, but I caught it just before "it" went into the glass, "it" turning out to be two slices of garlic. Nice save, and into the loo they went. Aroma was garlic, and the taste was well, garlic. Mouthfeel was hard to judge, my mouth being overwhelmed by the garlic and the aftertaste was garlic. Might’ve been an okay pilsner but for the garlic. Would not and could not ever drink this again. ps All this garlic had an extreme laxative effect within the hour. MrRoss	4 Brew Brothers Prairie Steamer Pouring with a moderate foamy white head which shrank away to a thin layer in short order, this one’s colour was an attractive dark amber, and cloudy to boot. The aroma was only a bit of malt, and at first the taste was ’odd’ to say the least. However, after allowing the beer to ’breathe’ in the glass for a few minutes, it did indeed taste like an amber ale and quite a nice one at that. Mouthfeel and aftertaste were quite acceptable. Cirrhosis	2.5 Brew Brothers Black Pilsner "Drinking this on tap at Original Joe’s, not a bad little micro brew tap selection they have here. Body appears black with ruby highlights when held up to light, there was no trace of any cap by the time the waitress dropped it off in front of me. Flavors are very subtle, roast malts, peat moss, mild coffee, and the faintest touch of a bitter hop presence. Mouth feel is acceptable and after taste is clean and somewhat refreshing. Beer finishes mildly sour but the becomes more evident when beer warms up. Very drinkable beer and of high quality, it’s just lacking any real character." Tuesday, July 14, 2009
VertBaconStrips	2.9 Brew Brothers Ambush IPA *review from Dec 24, 2007* Amber brew with a good ammount of unfilteredness, produced a huge off-white to tan head that has simmered to a skim and leaves some thin, messy lacing. Lacks in aroma but what is there is nice and mild for once. Floral hops with a touch of citrus, light biscuity and lighter caramel malts. A bit weak but from time to time it’s a good change of pace from the hop bombs and the aroma here is decent enough. The taste is better now that it’s warmer as the hops and their stiffness and weak pinyness comes out swinging. Zero grapefruit or other strong related citrus fruits that are so common. Some malt backbone...actually more than just some. Mouthfeel is thinner than I’m used to. Breathing in some harshness (good!). Finishes with a so-so bitter taste...but it’s got legs. hobbersr	3.5 Brew Brothers Black Pilsner On tap at Original Joe’s in Lethbridge AB. Black, slightly transparent, with a nice tan coloured head. Aroma is roasty with some lighter saaz hops showing through. Tastes very nice. Coffee and nuts with a tangy mid palate and a charcoal chocolate nut finish. Very drinkable and nice! Powertrip	3.5 Brew Brothers Antonios Original Garlic Pils I want to first note that my review will be biased on Aroma and Flavour, because I ABSOLUTELY ADORE garlic. Now, with that said: A terrific nose! Garlic wears a nice coat over light hops. Not much else but delicious garlic bread in the mouth. I did catch a wisp of the ale and it truly seemed like nothing spectacular. Moderate feel in the mouth, nothing exciting. A taste to suite my palate, but I’m sure not that of the everyman. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Flavour has a bit of mushroom-esque yeast and some wood flower, and a spicy hint of lemon cocoa in the background.
