3.3 Blest APA Color naranja, turbiedad media, translúcida. Textura sedosa. Cuerpo denso. Carbonatación baja. En una cata a ciegas hubiera apostado a que es una Weizenbier, sobre todo en aroma y por su cuerpo. Es raro pero la he disfrutado. Thursday, September 16, 2021

2.8 Blest Bock Smell has a bit of a roasted barley but the taste only follows through a little bit. There is a little sourness, but not as much as somedarker beers around Bariloche. This one’s not bad, just average. Had a bottle from the store in Bariloche. Wednesday, January 11, 2012

3 Blest La Trochita Stout Draught at the brewpub, very dark brown with a thick and foamy light beige head. A strong coffee malt aroma. A bitter palate, flavours of coffee and smoked wood. Finished with a bit of sweetness, and maybe just a little watery. Thursday, November 8, 2007

2.7 Blest Red Draught at the brewpub (called Scotch), a cloudy light copper with a foamy white head. A sweetish malty aroma of caramal. Smooth palate, gets more tart as you swallow. Malty background to the more fruity hop flavour. Just not my type of beer this, but nice enough. Thursday, November 8, 2007

2.2 Blest Frambuesa Draught at the brewpub, a very cloudy pink with a thin bubbly head. Some tangy berry aroma but very light. Very carbonated palate with a sourness that dominates the raspberry flavour a little. Some champagne characteristics, but maybe too sweet. Thursday, November 8, 2007

2.8 Blest Pilsen Draught at the brewpub, a hazy bright yellow gold with a thick foamy head. A lemony citrus hop aroma. A very clean hoppy palate, not too bitter and not too crisp. Lemon again in the flavour with grainy malt characaters. Thursday, November 8, 2007

2.2 Blest Bock Bottle at Cossab, BsAs - Sadly this bottle had some infection but I could still taste the good rich chocolatey body underneath with some sweetness and a long, malty, cocoa-laced finish. Not as good as it could have been but certainly has potential. Sunday, October 28, 2007

3.1 Blest Frambuesa Bottled, thanks Fukito! Hazy reddish amber, small almost pink head. Tart aroma of fresh respberries. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Intense tart raspberry flavour that balances the sweet malt well. An unusual but worthwile beer wit refreshing qualities despite it’s size and relative sweetness. Tuesday, February 20, 2007

3.5 Blest Pilsen Bottled, thanks Fukito! Pale golden, rich head. Grassy, buttery nose. Medium sweet and medium bodied. Solidly malty, yet with soft mouthfeel. Lightly buttery and fairly hoppy, finishes with good bitterness. A well made rounded hoppy lager beer. Monday, February 5, 2007

3.4 Blest Bock Drank this one at Cerveceria Blest in Bariloche. Apart from this being an awesome location, the beer is excellent. This negra (as it is called there) is a very rewarding beer, not sweet, good body, and refreshing. Thursday, February 1, 2007

3.1 Blest Pilsen Drank this one at Cerveceria Blest in Bariloche. Apart from this being an awesome location, the beer is excellent. It is called Rubia overthere and is one of the better pilseners I know. Rather bitter but very pleasing. Thursday, February 1, 2007

3 Blest Frambuesa Hazy red and gold with a pink, fizzy layer of foam. The aorma is an interesting blend of sweet raspberries, light caramel, light biscuit and interesting sour quality not unlike a mild blue cheese. The body is light and crisp on the tongue, and frankly quite pleasing to drink. The fruit and sweetness come out more in the flavor with a noticeable but mild sourness that becomes apparently only at the very end. A couple of final thoughts: first, this was good, but the sourness seemed fake in some way. I don’t mean it as an insult, but my impression was that it was someone contrived and not as authentic as with, say, a Cantillon. Secondly, despite the odd looks from the bartender at the Pilgrim Bar, I enjoyed this. Maybe not many men order this? They should, it’s pretty tasty. Tuesday, January 9, 2007

3.3 Blest Bock Dark burgundy with a thin, tan head. The aroma is malty and sweet, full of brown sugar, caramel and a light fruitiness. The nose on this is really nice. Fairly full body with nice development on the tongue. The flavor is on the sweet side, but not inherently sweet on its own. Nice malts and a hint of bitterness at the finish. Easily the best beer from this brewery, at least in my experience. Tuesday, January 9, 2007

2.6 Blest Pilsen Hazy golden body with a thin, diminishing white head. Some mild Saaz hop aroma with nice earthy bitterness and plenty of biscuity malt to provide sweetness. Light tropical fruit as well. Some bandaid type aromas that definitely seems off, but luckily it’s not too strong. The body is light and crisp on the tongue, relatively satisfying. The flavor is mostly sweet with the malt and fruitiness really coming out. The hops are evident, but not too strong and certainly don’t provide enough bitterness for the style. OK, and not exactly good. Tuesday, January 9, 2007

2.6 Blest Red Seemingly a (fairly) new beer Blest. Slightly hazy amber with a thin, white head. Nitro-tap. Mostly sweet, slightly sour nose. Biscuits, caramel, popcorn, light hop oil, whole grains and some light bubblegum. The body is smooth and light bodied with all the trappings of the nitrotap. The flavor is on the sweeter side, but definitely not cloying by any means. The hops provide a modicum of bitterness, but nothing like I’m used to in the style. Unfortunately, a little boring and bland. Tuesday, January 9, 2007
omhper |
3.2 Blest Bock Bottled, thanks Fukito! Dark mahogany with firm off-white head. Aroma mostly of caramelized sugar. Fairly sweet with evident caramel flavour. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Thankfully the flavour of crystalized sugar does not carry over into sticky sweetness, so the beer reminds gentle and drinkable. Mildly herbal finish. Thursday, December 28, 2006

2.2 Blest Frambuesa Hazy reddish golden ale with a thin white head. Faint raspberries in aroma. In mouth, strong chemical raspberries with malt liquor qualities. Too strong and unbalanced. Metallic finish. On tap, May 2006. Friday, June 9, 2006
Lubiere |
2.5 Blest La Trochita Stout Deep dark stout, lightly translucent with a creamy thin moka head. The aroma is faint, with some coffee notes. In mouth, lactic notes and thin, a bit boring overall, and served too warm. On tap, May 2006. Friday, June 9, 2006
