Roosters Brewing Patio Pilsener
Can at the flat in Jackson - picked up from Bin 22. Pours clear, bright orange-gold with a foamy, white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of bready biscuits, sun-kissed malts, faintly bitter straw, bread crust, a nip of dough. Light bodied with average carbonation. Semi-sweet finish, some further bready biscuits, a little fresh grain, straw. Very drinkable stuff.

Roosters Brewing Ogtoberfest
On draught at Old Chicago. It pours a beautiful deep amber with a fine layer of foam. It smells kinda bready, sweet malt, some hoppiness. The taste is bread, some malt sweetness, a rather disagreeable chemical flavour that I reckon is the hops. Light bodied, near watery. Nay to this.

Roosters Brewing Ogden Double IPA
Can. Prototype AIPA appeal, clear and quite golden-amber. For a Utah beer, this is really good ... rich malt backdrop and a fully flavored pine flavor. More, please. (#8596, 6/2023)

Roosters Brewing Ogden Double IPA
Canned April 6th 2022. Pours a clear gold with a good head of foam that lasts for a while. Lacing is okay. Smells of pine, citrus, somewhat resinous, some caramel malt sweetness. Pine, grapefruit citrus, caramel malt, some alcohol, lightly resinous, bread, not quite a symphony of flavours so I don't enjoy it as much as I could. Decent mouthfeel, carbonation could be kicked up a notch. Not my favourite DIPA. It certainly looks the part.

Roosters Brewing High Desert Hazy IPA
12 oz can, canned 11/18/21. Pours hazy copper orange with a medium creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass. The aroma is sweet worty wheat malts and fruit. The flavor is a bit subdued - sweet grainy malt with some worty fruit and a decent grassy bitterness. The mouthfeel is light bodied with low carbonation and a bit watery. Overall, a bit flawed but drinkable.

Roosters Brewing Just A Pale
Draft at the Layton brewpub. Amber/bronze. Thin top. Not much of a discernible aroma. Drinks more like a festbier IMHO, although to be fair with an American hop note. The undertone is apple and malt. (#8081, 11/2021)

Da raft at the Layton brewpub. Light color he, thin airy top. It does have a juice note on the nose, but this drinks in a pretty understated way. Just mild fruit salad intermingled with a mellow, almost Kolsch-y thing. Hey, it’s Utah. (#8080, 11/2021)
