mcberko	3.4 De Troch Oude Gueuze Cuvee 375mL bottle, pours a hazy dark orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out a nice barnyard funk, citrus zest, and a touch of hay. Flavour is fairly citrusy, with gentle hay, earthy farmhouse notes, and dry bready notes. Though the nose is nicely funky, the flavour is much flatter and more citrusy than anything. EvNa	3.7 De Troch Oude Gueuze Cuvee Bottle, 75cl from DeKoninck Buizingen. Best before 3 okt 2027 so bottled 3 okt 2022 and De Troch gives 5 years "limited guarantee" I presume? Can't believe it's from 2017... Color: Clear orange golden, off-white hrad. Aroma: Sweetish (for a Geuze), fruity notes,hay and funk hints. Taste: Smooth, quite sweetish for a Geuze, modearte tartness, fruity lemonjuice, gooseberry and some grape and green apple. Subtle funky, oak wood. Hints of hay. Dry -ish finish. Ok. dragnet101	2.3 Chapeau Kriek Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a murky purple with brief pink head and minor retention. Aroma of sweet slightly funky cherries and wood. Taste starts off with sweet and sour cherries but then leads to a stale oxidisation - some sips are more noticeable than others and its not the dominate flavour but is very distracting. jybi	0.6 Chapeau Gueuze Bière dégustée avec Graham. Cette brasserie devrait être clairement interdite. Après la faro qui était une ignominie, voici la gueuze, qui est à peine mieux. Le visuel est sur un ambré voilé sans mousse ni effervescence. Le nez est quasi inexistant. En bouche, cela reste hyper sucré avec très peu d'acidité et une texture qui colle au palais. Les arômes que la pomme, le vinaigre et le détergent sont peu appréciables. Pourquoi brasser une telle bière? Qui peut acheter cette catastrophe? A éviter. Monday, November 21, 2022

Aroma of sweet stewed fruits, white sugars, vinegar, sour peach, baked pear. Medium sweetness and moderate sour. Moderate body, watery, average to soft carbonation. Aroma is white sugar and vinegar, stale citrus, wet walnut. Medium sweetness with tainted sour. Moderate body, low carbonation. Tangy tart vinegar finish. Poor example of the faro style.
