A delicious vanilla wafer like flavor. Not picking up a whole lot of whiskey barrel notes, but they are there. Full of flavor. This would be the one I would want to take a bottle home. sebletitje	3.8 Sky River Solas 75cl bottle via trade with Octopusprim. Abv showing at 10.5% Couleur pâle claire, collant et huileux au verre, pas de col. Arôme au nez plaisant mettant en avant un léger côté vanille, whisky léger en rétro-nasal et un fruité blanc bien présent. Le mielleux est organique, avec une pointe tirant vers un léger caramélisé. Palais est plaisant et surprenant, le fait d’être à 10% rend le tout facile à boire, et relevé par le mûrissage en fût de whisky qui confère un côté doux mielleux avec un caractère boisé modéré qui offre de fines pointes de vanillé. Cependant, je retrouve un côté acerbe de miel/fruité qui est minime dans un côté fruité/vert fleuri. Épicé est là en toute fin de bouche tout en restant discret. Sunday, November 6, 2016

Taste is semi-sweet, with raspberries being the primary flavor along with more subtle flavor notes. Very easy to drink this. Not nearly as sweet as many meads, but I find it refreshing, although it can come off as a little thin at the finish. Still, really enjoyable and worth having now and then.
