Swashbuckler Bermuda Triangle Ginger
Pours clear amber into the glass, with a fully diminished fizzy head, leaving no lace. The nose is of definite ginger and herbal grassiness. Ginger, pie spices and vegetal herbs with legumes are present on the tongue, with a spicy finish. The mouthfeel is semi-active and soda-esque.

Swashbuckler Scratchyís Pumpkin Wheat
Bottle:   Dark straw, a bit muddled and dirty, thin sudsy off-white head, little lacing.   Big spicy nose, but it seems like Apple cider, Cranberry cider, mixed with a lot of clove.   Has a tart or sour aspect that comes through, even on the nose.   Tart and somewhat dry on the tongue.   Very much Apple cider like, with a strong dose of clove and nutmeg, and a dash of cinnamon.   Its less of a Wheat, less of a Pumpkin beer, and more of some sort of Wild Ale given its tartness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, at best.   Seems a touch watery, lacking some body.   Finishes like a watery spiced candle... no joke.   Doesnít taste like any pumpkin pie that I ever ate.

The pour is a clear dark gold with minimal head. The scent is subtle hops with a slight floral note. The taste is definite hops with a bitter note, but not very strong and a bit on the floral side. Slippery to the palate, yet very drinkable. A good summertime drink.

Swashbuckler 10th Anniversary Ale
22 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small fizzy beige head. The nose is nicely earthy with great dark wheat notes, some especially nice over-ripe banana. The flavor is a bit thin without much yeast presence. Still some nice earthy rye/dark wheat notes. Finishes with some fruity esters. Mouthfeel is thinnish and a touch watery with fizzy carbonation. Some decent qualities in the nose, but it needs a little more body and yeast.

Swashbuckler Gold
Tap, Renn Faire. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a small frothy white head. The nose is pretty clean, just some pale bready malt and a very minimal touch of grassy hops. The flavor is very cereal grainy with some corn and DMS. Finishes with a touch of wet soggy grain. Zero bitterness from the hops . Light bodied, a touch clingy and sticky from the corn with moderate fizzy carbonation. Not the best, very pedestrian.

Swashbuckler Captain Rudes Black Water Stout
Tap, Renn Faire. Pours a dark brown, almost black body, with a small wispy light brown head. The nose is roasty and a touch of an over-extracted coffee twang. Some cocoa and licorice as well. The flavor has a slightly astringent twang up front, over-roasted malt, burnt coffee, and some dark molassas. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, a touch clingy, especially for a Dry Stout. Moderate fizzy carbonation. Not the best, but it was passable.

Swashbuckler Plankwalkers IPA
Pours a clear dark copper body with a great creamy off-white head that had excellent retention. The nose is floral and grassy with a touch of citrus. Some light caramel and crystal malt. The flavor is just moderately bitter, more grassy than anything. The malt is lightly sweet with some toasty and caramel notes. Lingering floral hops. Medium bodied, some moderate residual sugars makes it a little sticky on the finish. Moderate fizzy carbonation. Decent beer, but not a standout.

Bottle thanks to Dan! Poured a slightly hazy brownish amber with an off-white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was musty with dark grain and wheat. Flavor was similar starting with dark grains, dark fruits and a bit of grain. There was an odd sour note in the finish, though it didnít ruin the beer.
