First I have to say, why dont you bottle this? Got this on draft at the Detroit beer company. Bartender would not give me a growler despite my pleas. Poured a SRM of about 12. Lots of soapy lacing on the glass. Lots of sweet malt aroma with tangerines and Resin. Flavor is much of the same. Beautifully balance of malt and hops. Medium/full body with a creamy mouthfeel. Lasting hop bitterness on finish. Well done.

Detroit Beer Co. Detroit Red
Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice hazy golden orange to yellow but also having a light brown flowing through and all around in the color. The head was about a half fingerís worth and trickled in its lacing. The smell had a roasty caramel malt and slight nuttiness try to invade but maintain a healthy background. The taste was mainly sweet and roasty adding a light element of nuttiness separate of the sweet and roasty flavorings. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat smooth but also had a decent sharpness about it as well. Overall, good beer for the most part that I would have again.

Detroit Beer Co. Hop Grenade
On tap poured into a shaker. A surprisingly "juicy" and sweet tangerine aroma pops off this beer with a bit of a spicy note (coriander?) and other tropical fruits. It pours a foggy orange amber color with a white head. A creamy, medium thick ring and a good blanket of surface head retains. A light, "stringy" lace is left behind. The taste is highly bitter, but balanced nicely by a medium sweetness. For a double IPA, this slick textured beer has a surprisingly mellow, medium body (especially when compared to their standard IPA). It also has a soft carbonation to it. The finish is a pleasant combination of caramel and citrus. It finished dry and crisp. A resin and/or grassy aftertaste is left behind, but itís rather light and short.

Detroit Beer Co. Local 1529 IPA
On tap, poured into a sampler glass. Orange and pie crust aromas emanate from this beer with lots of citrus zest and some light toffee. It pours a slightly hazy, amber color with a white head. A medium - light ring is retained with an island of film on the surface. a sparse, micro bubble lace is left down the glass. Itís taste is medium high bitter and medium sweetness. Thereís a light, soft carbonation to this slick textured beer, and it has a full citrus body. Itís quite reminiscent of Stoneís IPA, but itís not as overwhelming in the citrus bitter / astringent category. Tons of bitter grapefruit are present in the gritty finish as well as a mellow, caramel candy character. The aftertaste is relatively short with notes of caramel and biscuit.

Detroit Beer Co. Hockeytown Hefeweizen
On tap poured into a sampler glass. Had this one under the name "Hockeytown Hefeweizen" - but Iím presuming itís the same beer. Classic aromas of banana and clove hit the nose with a subtle wheat grain note. It pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a white, frothy and soft head. Lots of messy lace is left behind with an above average, puffy retention. A medium light better is balanced well by a medium level of mellow sweetness. Itís thin, yet creamy in texture with a medium body and lots of soft carbonation. It has a nice spicy bite to it at the finish. a bit of a dry cereal flavor also appears at the finish. It is dry and crisp with a roasted grain and light chalkiness / clove grit in the short aftertaste.
