2.7 Kings Temno Pivo On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color, topped with a rather small tan colored head. Mild roasty aroma with some fruity back notes. Sweet taste without any real bitterness. A tad soury as should be with some coffee in the finish and aftertaste - very mild. Light body, drinkable, refreshing. Not bad. Sunday, October 11, 2015 | |

2.9 Kings Svetlo Pivo Started producing this one again after a hiatus. On tap at the brew pub. Pours a slightly hazy sunny yellow color, topped with a very generous and lasting white head; fine lacing. Obvious but not too intrusive sweet floral aroma. Some honey presence in there as well. Taste slightly grassy and herbal with mild bitterness, Slight cellar feel in the finish, but hardly noticeable. Nice one. Friday, October 9, 2015 | |

3.1 Kings Temno Pivo Close to black, opaque, headless or almost. Straightforward malty nose with a blend of toasted and roasty nuances. Surprisingly dry, not necessarily very bitter, but at least using those coffee and dark chocolate hints to something else than flavour, making the palate better. Still a rather simple beer, but this was my first contact with Slovenian dark beers and I’ve since learnt that stumbling upon a dry one is a rare chance indeed. Saturday, August 11, 2007 | |
