Brun i färgen. Stall och jäst i smaken. Lite frissig och lite för kolsyrad. En liten besvikelse lite för lätt smak ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: raisins, dark caramel, gentle esters- banana, some roast, gentle alcohol, toasty. Pleasant and just right. Appearance: reddish brown, hazy, off-white head with good retention and great texture. Taste: similar to aroma, light sweetness, lightly bitter, well balanced. medium body, creamy, slick feel, lively, long smooth finish, gently warming, slight dryness. Overall: Nicely balanced, pleasant level of complexity, highly drinkable. Enjoyed it a lot.

Corpo pieno, ben carbonata, texture oleosa.

Seriously best fucking beer ever. A fifth of the price of Westvlteren. This is the real deal. Seriously that’s it, go with the cheeky monk. He knows beer.

Lovely. Pours a lovely dark with good head. Be careful with the yeast, there is a lot of heavy yeast at the bottom. Tastes lovely, certainly in my top 5 and dare I say it challenges the mighty Rochefort 10? Maybe not but I certainly had to think about it which is high praise indeed.

Tap@Søernes. Pours hazy brown with low offwhite head. Aroma is complex and sweet with caramel, dried fruit like prune and fig and coriander in the end. A bit of roasted maltiness too. Hints of winegum. Taste is sweet and complex with dried fruits, caramel, light and brown malts and slightly spicy. Ends in moderate bitterness with high drinkability, despite the alcohol level. Great one!

Caramel, some dark fruits and molasses in nose. Pours dark brown with beige head. Taste is medium sweet with caramel, raisins, chocolate and some spices. Finish is low bitter with very pleasant almond note in the aftertaste. Overall good Dubbel, I’ve never tried a beer with such a distinct almond note, interesting.

Very nice witte poured into a rochefort chalice. Appearance is a cloudy yellow straw with some carbonation and a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is lemon peel with bread and cereal overtones. The taste is somewhat zesty and tart. Lemon peel and yeast in the forefront with the traditional wheat in the background. Definitely a slightly bitter finish but it’s actually very nice and bubbly with the carbonation on the tongue. Overall, a very good wheat beer.

Bottle to sampler. Omg heaven in a glass. Didn’t think you could perfect abt 12 but putting it on oak it is amazing taste so fresh from the sweeter malt base and straight up oak not with bourbon or vanilla. A bit woodsy earthy and delicious.

Bottle from Marc, thanks man. Pours a hazy straw topped by a coarse off-white head showing average retention, but lacing properties. Highly carbonated brew. The nose is fruity, doughy. Fresh white bread, hint of citrus, some peppercorn and a strong vegetal backbone. The taste is bready with citrus notes and that same vegetal backbone. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice little tartness. Good, light and refreshing. Cheers!

Bought a 75cl bottle from an internet site. Gives a nice beige head when poured. Co2 is well balanced. Smell is a bit of alcohol and banana. Taste is malty and dried fruit. Mostly dried plum. Nicely hopped, and the alcohol is hidden. Something all beer lovers should taste once. Bought this one because West Vletteren is hard to get and expensive. They say it is a good clone..

Piwo degustacyjne, deserowe, cudnie bogate, zachęcające do samotnej spokojnej degustacji, skupienia. Świetne piwo, kolejna z belgijskich perełek, którą można wielokrotnie powtarzać.

Aroma: Medium-light toasted bread with light syrup that quickly disappears. Medium spiciness, coriander, Light fruity, banana. No hops. Appearance: Slightly hazy, copper body. Large, frothy, rocky head, fair retention. Lacing. Flavour: Medium coriander, Light toasted bread with syrup. Medium-light bitterness. Very dry finish with lingering coriander. Mouthfeel: Light warming. Medium-high carbonation, Light body. Light oily tongue coating. Medium-light astringency. Overall: Missing the maltiness that is expected of the style. The coriander is front and center, and it refuses to move, overpowering everything else, even hanging around afterwards to annoy me. 330 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre! 26B. Belgian Dubbel

Had this one stewing for over a year. Finally. Racked it open. Pours a rosy brown with lees cloud. Thinner head that breaks down rather fast. Nose of brown sugar, malts and prunes. Similar taste of carmel malts, dried fruits, booze and mild yeast. A little thinner on the palate than I expected but a very nice beer.

Prima nabitter. Body is vol en mondgevoel is zacht en romig. Topper!

Kastanjekleurig donkerere dubbel met een beetje schuim. De kraag is crèmekleurig. Aromas: Donker fruit, karamel, iets metalig. Heerlijk!

Corpo medio-leggero, molto carbonata.
