Trossachs Summer Ale
Cask, at Newark Beer Festival, May 2004.Certainly looks like a Golden ale but smells and tastes like they forgot to put the hops in. This leaves it relying on biscuity, but quite sweet, malt for its impact. And its really not up to the job. Couple that with distinctly light mouthfeel and you are left with a beer that is drinkable but distinctly short of character.

Trossachs Mountain Dew
Cask Conditioned at The Wellington, Birmingham. orange amber beer with foamy head. This is a particularly dry bitter, some grassy hay like notes wih a crisp hop. There is a biscuit malt and a peppery note on the finish. Pretty good mid range best bitter.

Trossachs Organic Winter Warmer
Brown peaty, earthy beer with lots of chocolate malt and a finish like a mouthful of the great glen. Strange yet interesting at the same time. (Cask from Sheffield)

Gravity Dispense - White Horse Hedgerley BF. An extremley light coloured beer with a dry unappetizing aroma. The taste is quite sweet and unbalanced. Nothing special.
