Triple Rock Two Cents 3.6
On tap @ Triple Rock. Clear golden beer with a finger of sticky white foam. Citrus forward beer with a bit of pine, grass, and dried flowers. There’s a touch of bread and marmalade sweetness. Mild to moderate bitterness on the finish of citrus peel and pine. Maybe a touch of grain husk, but overall pretty nice.

Triple Rock Lady Friend 3.7
On tap @ Triple Rock. Hazed golden orange beer with a soapy white head. Kind of your typical Belgian style beer brewed in an American brewpub...but probably above average. Pretty good balance of fruit, spice, and just overall yeast driven character. There’s a lot of sweet caramel, canned peach, and some pear. Light grassy bitterness. Actually has a good bit of citrus to it that I wasn’t expecting. Not too shabby.

Triple Rock Stonehenge Stout 3.2
Dark black. Sweet. Almost under-fermented sweet. Cola. Claims to be full body, but is actually somewhat thin. Growler that was a wedding git from Joey.

Triple Rock / Drakes 15 Minute Pale Ale 4
On tap @ Drakes Dealership. Pale straw colored beer with a sticky white head. Super fragrant and bright citrus. Big time lemon, tangerine, and white grapefruit. Rather pine forward, too. There’s some nice zesty and grassy aromas as well. The flavor is very dry and has a nice citric quality. Light bitterness to it. Plenty of orange, lemon, and grapefruit flavor, too. Nice herbal and piney notes as well. Nice and crushable. Good stuff.

Triple Rock Mister Stout 3.3
On tap @ Triple Rock. Black in color with a tan head. Heavy roasted malts and a bit of ash. There’s a definite char and dark roasted coffee, too. Kind of on the bitter side. Somewhat of a tangy dark fruit character (raisin?). Lots of coffee grounds, a touch of sweetness, and some toffee notes. It’s just okay.

Triple Rock Wooden Soldier 3.8
On tap @ Triple Rock. Pours sort of copper in color with some khaki foam. Huge vanilla, brown sugar, bourbon, and oak aromas. Plenty of sweetness of caramel, raisin, and black cherry, too. Somewhat boozy, I guess...certainly very sweet as well. Light charred oak bitterness, some subtle hops underneath, but mostly sweet caramel, chocolate, coconut, marshmallow, vanilla, and bourbon.

Triple Rock Hazy Jane 3.5
On tap @ Triple Rock. Not sure if this is the same beer...but listed as a 6% saison. Anyway, turbid straw colored beer with white foam. Has some nice bread, biscuit, white pepper, and lime. There’s some sweet orange going on here, too. Maybe a touch of pear, too. Fairly mild on the esters and phenols, which is fine. Kind of on the bitter side, maybe, but okay.

Triple Rock Tenderfoot 3.9
On tap @ Triple Rock. Lightly hazed orange colored beer with a white head. Get a really nice mix of tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango. There’s a big dose of grapefruit, orange, and lemon rind. Maybe a touch of pine, too. Some biscuity and bready malt, but overall a fairly soft malt profile. Nice bitterness that’s not too strong. Plenty of citrus zest, some stone fruits, and a juicy tropical fruit finish. Nice.

Triple Rock Nod N Smile 3.7
On tap @ Triple Rock. Clear orange beer with a white head. Rich tropical fruits and orange aromas. Some grapefruit, lots of pine, and some caramel malts. Nice balance of sweetness and bitterness, though more citric and fruity than anything. Maybe just a hint of booze as it warms up. A lot of triple IPAs can be too intense in any particular direction, but this was well done.

Triple Rock The Good Hop Saison 3.2
On tap @ Triple Rock. Hazed straw beer with a soapy white head. Very, very floral aroma. Hints of soap, jasmine, and lavendar. Somewhat peppery for my tastes. There’s a lot of bitter spice and grains to the flavor. Slight vegetal notes along with the soap and dried flowers. Maybe some potpourri. Light sweetness of toasted grain and biscuit.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is witbier-like with some coriander, orange, light pepper and soap. The flavor is strong with some peat phenols, pepper and light fruit notes, but really not all that peachy. Creamy body and carbonation with pleasant fruity acidity and mild hop bitterness in the finish. Nice mouthfeel, but the weird smoky phenols throw it off.
