Triple Rock Ordinary Penny
On tap @ Triple Rock. Mostly clear straw colored beer with some white foam. Has a pretty nice fruity hop character, here. Thereís a good bit of melon, green grape, and citrus fruits. Light bready malts and bitterness. Thereís a sort of tangy citrus and generic "tropical" fruit character to the flavor. Nice funky grape flavor, too. Maybe a little lacking in body/mouthfeel, but overall not too shabby.

Triple Rock Nexterday
On tap @ Triple Rock. Slightly cloudy golden beer with a white head. This was a real letdown as I like these two hop varieties a lot. Very earthy and grassy on the nose with a strong bitterness and oily citrus quality on the tongue. Thereís some sweet bready malt and biscuit, which is actually kind of nice...overall, this is a bit of a miss, though.

Triple Rock Kid Citrus
On tap @ Triple Rock. Clear golden-orange beer with a thick white head. Has a nice pineapple and grapefruit aroma up front. Some grass, flowers, and orange. Smells quite nice, in fact. The flavor is a little more malt forward and has a strong cracker note to it, maybe a bit of cherrios/cereal, too. Still has some decent citrus and grass notes, but not quite as aromatic and pleasing.

Triple Rock Tumblewheat
On tap @ Triple Rock. Milky orange beer with some white foam. Plenty of banana, some clove, and sweet malts. Hints of vanilla and bubblegum, too. Thereís a bit of banana bread, some white pepper, and just a touch of citrus zest. After a few sips, the clove and spice character seems to come through a bit more. I found this to be pretty nice.

Triple Rock Watwozee
On tap @ Triple Rock. Clear golden beer with white foam. Thereís a crazy fruitiness to the nose. Big time passion fruit, white grape, melon, orange, and lime. Pretty heavy on the Sauvignon blanc notes. Juicy, a little catty maybe, and somewhat floral. Thereís a bit of a misplaced sweetness to the beer, particularly in terms of the flavor. Light to moderate bitterness as well and a pretty good fruit character remains, though not as nice as the nose.

Triple Rock Tablesetter
On tap @ Triple Rock. Almost champagne colored beer--very light yellow--with a tall white head. Get more of a yeast driven character to this than anything. Lots of white pepper, coriander, yeast, and lemon rind. Pretty dry, crackery malt character and maybe even a tinge of acidity on the tongue. Kind of astringent and bitter. Not my jam.

Triple Rock Single Hop Experience Vics Secret
On tap @ Triple Rock. Clear yellow colored beer with a white head. I donít believe Iíve had any beers with this hop before, so interesting experience. Has a nice tropical fruit sweetness to it with some pineapple and also a touch of pine, apricot, and citrus peel. Definitely some malt character here providing sweetness and a moderate bitterness of pine and woody herbs on the back end. Pretty lively carbonation. Just a touch of honeydew to go along with the tropical and citrus fruits. Not bad.

Triple Rock Hello Hibiscus
On tap @ Triple Rock. Cherry 7-Up colored beer with a thin ring of pink-white foam. The hibiscus definitely dominates here with some soft berry, rhubarb, and soap aromas. Get a very floral, rose water-like character, too. Mild sweetness, really no bitterness, and a pretty mild malt character. Itís actually pretty nice.

Triple Rock Finneganís Whistle
On tap @ Triple Rock. Dark brown color with a thick tan head. Smells mostly of roasted malts with some coffee grounds, dark cocoa powder, and maybe some dirt? Kind of your typical dry stout here. Not a ton of flavor, sweetness, or bitterness. Maybe a bit of a muddled flavor and earthy, floral hop bitterness.

Triple Rock Canít Hop This
On tap @ Triple Rock. Clear golden beer with a white head. Has a pretty nice fruit aroma of melon, green grape, and orange peel. Thereís a touch of grass and sweet malts, too. I get a little bit of a floral and earthy bitterness to it thatís not really my favorite. But there is some bright fruit character that I do like, so overall a nice enough beer.

Triple Rock Small Talk
On tap @ Hogs Apothecary. Clear golden beer with a white head. Has a pretty solid citrus aroma going on here, mostly orange, though some grapefruit as well. Maybe a touch of fruit like pineapple and apricot. Light to moderate bitterness, though the flavor comes off a little more pithy and grassy with less of the citrus and fruit aromatics from the nose. Itís a nice enough beer, but not quite great.

Triple Rock Canít Hop This
On tap at the brewery. It pours a light orange gold color with an off white head. The aroma has some interesting notes of grape and watermelon. Lighter hints of mango. Nice and fruity. The flavor has more of the watermelon, and less of the grape, but both are present. Hints of caramel malt in the background. Smooth body and pretty easy drinking with a floral bitterness in the finish. Nice job Felicia!

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear light gold color with a lasting white head. The aroma has some white grape, gooseberry and passionfruit. Hints of cat piss. Nice, but not really all that potent. The flavor is very grape forward with a little gooseberry. Fruity. Kinda full bodied, but not sweet. Bready malt body with a hint of caramel in the background. Great mouthfeel. A little herbal/dank bitterness in the finish. Really enjoyable stuff.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a lightly hazed pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is juicy with mango, papaya, peach and grape. Very fruity. The flavor is soft and has a little hop spice and bready malt to go along with a more grapefruity, passionfruit flavor. Velvety mouthfeel. Lower carbonation with a dry, snappy finish. Hints of astringency, but good hop character. Drinkable.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a super clear light pinkish salmon color with a light pink head. The aroma is light, sweet berries. Blueberry and strawberry. The flavor is also light with hints of hibiscus and distant notes of strawberry and rhubarb. Wheat malt in the background. Very well integrated flavors. It has a dry, balanced finish. Not as exciting as it is well made. Refreshing.

Triple Rock Lady Friend
On tap @ Triple Rock. Hazed golden orange beer with a soapy white head. Kind of your typical Belgian style beer brewed in an American brewpub...but probably above average. Pretty good balance of fruit, spice, and just overall yeast driven character. Thereís a lot of sweet caramel, canned peach, and some pear. Light grassy bitterness. Actually has a good bit of citrus to it that I wasnít expecting. Not too shabby.

On tap @ Triple Rock. Clear orange beer with a white head. Rich tropical fruits and orange aromas. Some grapefruit, lots of pine, and some caramel malts. Nice balance of sweetness and bitterness, though more citric and fruity than anything. Maybe just a hint of booze as it warms up. A lot of triple IPAs can be too intense in any particular direction, but this was well done.
