Koelschtrinker	2.9 Hümmer Güßbacher Urtyp Frischer getreidiger Antrunk, der mit der Zeit dichter wird und einen feinherben Ton mit sich zieht. Gleichzeitig scheint auch eine gewisse Malzigkeit durchdringen zu wollen, schafft es aber weder hier noch im weiteren Verlauf. Im Mittelteil etwas getreidiger, etwas würzig. Maria	1.7 Hümmer Weisse It’s unclear, warm orange with a rather small head. The aroma is sharp and tart with notes of sour yeast and strong barnyard. The flavour is very like the aroma and has additional notes of fruit, and the finish is spicy. Not a weiss to my liking. Saturday, July 10, 2010
Maria	2.6 Hümmer Güßbacher Urtyp It’s hazy, almost unclear golden with a small, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, light apple like in an oxidized beer. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of malt, clover-flower and light fruit. The flavour also gives me the “oxidized beer” feeling, but it’s months from being too old. Maria	2.7 Hümmer Pils It’s dark golden with a very light grey hue and a rapidly vanishing head. The aroma has notes of malt, light syrup and light fruit – mostly apple, actually it seems a bit oxidated. MiP	3 Hümmer Lagerbier Bottle, 5.0%. Mild aroma, a little sweet malt, hint of bread. Clear orange colour. Small stable white head. The flavour starts off bready, does not taste entirely fresh. Not past BB date, unless it is over a year, as there is no year on the label. The flavour turns more malty after a few sips, with a mildly rough, grassy hoppiness. A rather complex beer for Germany, would love to try it fresh vom Fass. Monday, June 1, 2009
