Further Personal Perceptions: -A veil of foam tops the cloudy golden. -This Tripel may have no identity, but it remains a good example of the style. -Alcohol is well hidden. MartinT	1.8 Côte de Jade Brigantine Ambrée My Bottom Line: Weird acidic notes (lemon gelato, unripe green apples, etc.) suffuse this wonky Belgian-style Ale, as raw, earthy yeast notes and light spiciness fail to salvage the flavor profile. Further Personal Perceptions: -A slice of foam tops the murky pale amber. -There is no malt flavor at all in here; strange for a beer labeled ‘Pur Malt’. -Bacterial infection seem to be the problem here. In a blind tasting, I would have said this was a amateurish Berliner Weisse attempt. -A shame this bottle has gone awry. Their Triple was quite fine, so I had high hopes for this one. Bottle. This has a metallic and too a lesser extent mineral edge, it’s a Triple but it’s a pilsner like Triple I’m guessing that pilsner malts are used and I wouldn’t be surprised if Saaz hops might also be in the mix.
