Ølfabrikken Pale Ale 2.1
33cl can from Calle, Tallinn. Pours clear deep golden to amber with not much head to speak of. Fruity, candy-like aroma with caramel, malt, cooked vegetables and hints of pine and herbs. Fairly sweet with almost artificial fruity flavours and a certain bitterness. All-together not very pleasant.

A bit to malty and lacked some more hop power..
Clear golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing on the glass. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Quite malty, fruity, some toffee and mild citric flavor.

Can @ home Appearance: pours clear red-brown with ok white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, light caramel, some metallic and herbal notes. palette: light malty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, average malt sweetness, balanced by a medium bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: decent brown ale, but definitely a thin reinterpretation of the original

Ølfabrikken Jule Ale 3.6
28-NOV-2015, bottle @home, thx. Erik:-) Best Before 14/10-2014 - Don’t know what that Means in terms of release date. Almost clear read. Dry, spiced, malty. Typical X-mas, perhaps more dry and perhaps originally more hopped? Touch of cardboard reveals that this is i somewhat too old.

Ølfabrikken Tripel Special Reserve 3.3
750 ml bottle, thanks to ClarkVV on this bottle. About a 2007 vintage... Mildly hazy gold color with particles floating around the liquid. Aroma is honey, mild dried fruits. Maybe mild sugar.

Flavor is a pale malt base with mild spice, clove and like apricot. Body is pretty decent. Pretty much spot on for the style. Nice.

Ølfabrikken Tripel Special Reserve 3.4
2007 bottle randomly acquired at Downtown Liquors, drunk 11/28/15.
Honey, cork, plastic, mandarin, alcohol. Hmmm, quite mellow.
The flavor is sweet, with 8 year old carb that is obviously low. Oxidation is mild with lots of honey and citrus. Pretty tough to drink, though not sure how this could have been any better young. Incredibly sweet as it progresses.

Ølfabrikken Tripel Special Reserve 3
Light yellow with a bit of a white head. Smell is honey and spices. Something about this is off to me. I like it sort of but I can pinpoint the off flavor. Maybe it’s just the lime leafs... like I need citrus or I need more tea or something in this. IDK.

Ølfabrikken Tripel Special Reserve 3
75CL from Clark, A very light orange color with a 3 finger head. Fully carbed for a 2007 beer. Aroma is super cheesy, very yeasty with a little bit of citrus. Well, it’s certainly old. You get a ton of oxidation, cheese, lemon meringue and old shoe. Believe it or not, this is still drinkable but lots of oxidation.

From can. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of vegetables, butter, hay, just flat. Taste is a tiny bit better than anticipated. It still has vegetables and butter, but not as much as the aroma indicated. Seems stale and very grainy.

Denne pilsner har et lyst og klart udseende med et medium skum. Øllen har en lidt sød frugtig humlet smag, men mest af alt smager den meget tyndt og kedeligt. Medium karbonering.

Ølfabrikken ØL (Russian Imperial Chocolate Stout) 3.5
The stout has very limited foam. Good aroma of coffee notes and a little licorice. The flavor also have coffee, English licorice lesser degree and a burned malty flavor with slightly smoky aftertaste. In addition there is good bitter dark chocolate in the finish, which is long lasting and comfortable.

Ølfabrikken Vinter Klovn 2.4
Lovely rich taste of caramel that quickly replaced by a flowered and hoppy aftertaste that lasts long. The foam is nice and fairly persistent.

TorbenJensen
Ølfabrikken Vinter Ale 3.2
The foam is nice and long and smells really good fruit (plum, raisin and peach). The taste is slightly vinous without being too heavy and very fruity of the aforementioned fruits, while in the taste also get a hint of pineapple. Easy chocolate in the aftertaste, which incidentally is quite bitter left. Precisely the lack of hop bitterness clothes this ale tremendously well. It seems very appropriate for the sweet fruit tones from the outset presented to them.

Ølfabrikken Ungstrups Reserve 3.7
Aroma of smoke and light fruit. Fruity taste is deep, but it is difficult to distinguish the fruit from each other because of its smoked character. It is tasty, different.

Ølfabrikken Sinful Brother 5
Its aroma is heavy fruits like plum, raisin and peach. Furthermore, it has a sweet syrup aroma and is extremely vinous in the aroma. The flavor is as expected alcohol strong, vinous and very fruity. In the taste is revealed, in addition to the aforementioned plum, raisin and peach, also a hint of ripe cherries. It has a comfortable sweet balance that gives beautiful contrast to the sour aftertaste as the fruit leaves. The alcohol is strong, but remain in the background.

Ølfabrikken Porter 5
Although a dark brown and very dense foam located close to the top of the thick coal-black porter. It hangs fat on the inside of the glass and reminiscent of an oily substance. The aroma is coffee and licorice, while the taste varies over dark bitter chocolate, lots of strong coffee and English licorice. It is a sovereign delicious porter.

Ølfabrikken Pilsner (2008 -) 3.2
Very nice close and white foam. Smells of wonderful fruit (peach and citrus) and reminds the scent wise more than ale than a lager. The taste is slightly hopped on a very soft, but still firm shape, and it has a beer-like finish with clear notes of good exotic fruit. The malt with a slightly understated sweetness facing a very nice balance with the hops. This is certainly a very peculiar lager that deserves great attention.

Ølfabrikken Pale Ale (-2006) 3.3
Pleasant malt aroma with inviting fruity notes. The taste is slightly tart citrus fruit until a gentle malt sweetness with distinct caramel touch, carries forward to a good long hops bitterness. Acidic unit constantly lurking in the background and provides cubits high density and character. It is incredibly kind and really several classes better than many of the major known pale ales.

Ølfabrikken Kloster Jul 3.1
Beautiful rough foam. Clear malt aroma with hints of ripe fruit. The flavor of the slightly tart fruit with notes of cherry. Furthermore, prune and caramel taste. Very Belgium in its appearance / taste, and perhaps not so much Christmas ale! However, it is a successful and tasty ale.

TorbenJensen
Ølfabrikken Jule Ale 3.3
It smells inviting hops and fruit. The foam is nice and steady, sinking a little after some time. Has Christmas fruity taste in the palate, in the form of raisin and prune, but here stops all compared to a Christmas ale. The bitterness of hops is high, if not very high for the type. In this case it is really good for this ale that would otherwise wither seem anonymous among the huge selection fortunately found among Christmas beer today. With its distinctive hop that is well balanced in the sweet fruit tones, it’s a Christmas ale well above average.

Ølfabrikken Hvid Jul 3.1
Close white and almost creamy foam and an aroma of citrus, typical wheat malt and coriander. The flavor is very rich of all three parts and a little chamomile which gives it a nice spicy finish. It is very successful and tasteful.

Ølfabrikken Cream Ale Spring 2.8
Near white foam. Lovely refreshing aroma of elderflower and hops. The taste is rich and pleasant fruit and floral notes, where elderflower dominates most but also a little apricot taste. Hop bitterness is present, but in a gentle way, leaving the elder flower in the mouth. A very easy to drink ale, with distinct touch of summer.

Ølfabrikken Bad Craziness Beer 1.4
Brewed in honor of the rock band D.A.D. in connection to their 25th years of anniversary. It is a luxury pilsner not significantly different from others of the same type. It carries on a bit more malty character, and a light retracted hop bitterness. Otherwise there are no special traits to be highlighted by it. Taste and richness is on the plain.

Bottle at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015, Ulfborg. Pours clear brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, overripe dark fruit, oxidization, port notes and light yeast. Flavour is fairly heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with a sticky sweet texture (like an sweet aged Belgian beer) and soft carbonation.

Ølfabrikken Pilsner (2008 -) 1.9
Can, 33 cl. Pale yellow body with a foamy white head. The somewhat faint aroma is characterised by notes of citrus and caramel. The taste is rather dry with light bitterness and medium acidity. It is too sour for me. A bit watery, too. Light body with average carbonation. The finish is dry and bitter. This lager is very dull. Buy the Aggerpils instead.

Ølfabrikken Aggerpils 2.3
Can, 33 cl. Pale yellow body with a foamy white head. Flat malty aroma with notes of citrus. Slightly dry taste with medium bitterness as well as some acidity. Surprisingly, the taste is fuller than expected for this style. Light body with average carbonation. Dry and rather bitter finish. This is certainly not going to be my new favourite lager, but it is decent and drinkable.

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015, day 2. Clear dark amber color, small beige head that subsides quickly. Smell and taste malts, clearly an old bottle since there definitely is quite some oxidation, doesn’t mean the beer isn’t tasty, it’s full of dark fruits, port, sweet-bitter, raisins, alcohol. Medium body and carbonation.
