Deep Creek Holy Cow India Pale Ale
440ml can from First Choice Liquor. It's a decent enough US-style IPA with prominent resinous and citrusy hops on the nose and tongue. Lean malt bill. Medium body and carbonation. Clear golden appearance, medium-sized white head.

Deep Creek Storm Peak Stout
Pitch black with a very thick, creamy, well-tanned head. Terrific retention and great cumulus lacework. The nose is of chocolate, vanilla, cashews and cinnamon. The flavor is burnt and well-balanced, but sort of thin, much like an American Guinness. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and light carbonation. Lengthy, lightly bitter, bone-dry, grassy finish.

Deep Creek This Aint Yo Mamas Lager
The brewer left the brewery before this one was named. The staff named it and apparently no one currently at the lodge knows how to carbonate. No deduction of points for the beer’s flatness. It’s like a cask conditioned lager(?). I’m not a big fan of cask conditioned ales, so I’ll rate this one like I do the ales... pretending they are supposed to be flat and boring. Sorry CAMRA. Murky, caramel colored lager. Nice, malty, fruity aroma... caramel, pomegranate, raspberry, straw and very light chocolate. The flavor is moderately bitter with balancing malt. Medium to full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Lengthy, tangy, bitter, dry finish.

Deep Creek Retro P Porter
Extremely dark, crystal clear, cola-colored ale with a tiny, creamy, well-tanned head. The aroma is very milk chocolatey, smokey and nutty, with notes of coffee and vanilla. The flavor pretty much matches the aroma. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and pillow-soft carbonation. Lengthy, mocha, burnt finish.

Deep Creek Angry Clown Brown Ale
This beer rocks! A great brown ale! Sparkling clear, brand-spanking-new-penny copper ale with a small, creamy, khaki head. Excellent retention with cumulus lacework. Nutty, smoky, chocolatey aroma and flavor. Perfectly balanced. Light-bodied with a very creamy mouthfeel and pillow-soft carbonation. Short, lightly bitter finish. World class beer!

Deep Creek Bear Claw ESB
Crystal clear, copper ale... like a shiny, new penny. Mid-sized, creamy, off-white head with ink-blot lacing. The nose and flavor deliver notes of toffee, butter and a hint of brown sugar. Well-hopped. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Very nice for the style.

Deep Creek Dauphine Street Dunkel Weizen
Murky, dark amber lager with a large, fizzy, off-white head. Typical banana and clove in the aroma along with some light chocolate and dark fruit. The flavor is well-balanced and tangy. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, crisp, tangy finish.

Deep Creek Holy Cow India Pale Ale
Crystal clear, golden ale with a huge, frothy, white head. Very cool cumulus and stratus lacework. Citrusy, piney aroma. More-than-moderately bitter flavor. Tastes like pink grapefruit rind. Medium-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish. The bitterness borders on being unpleasant. No character... just carelessly hopped. Still, a must try for hopheads who really like the bite of the Galena.

Deep Creek White Dog Wheat
Hazy, straw-colored lager with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. The nose is a bit yeasty/soapy and citrusy. Very refreshing flavor, but a tad thin. Nicely hopped... just a touch on the bitter side. Citrus and floral flavors. Light-bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel. Short, crisp, clean finish. Very refreshing Summer brew!

Deep Creek Dauphine Street Dunkel Weizen
The banana and clove flavor and aroma is the first thing that stikes you (German yeast strain typical of dunkelweizens used). One will also notice the heavy malt flavor compared to the light hopping. This beer has a complex taste and is very different. Definetly one to try.

Deep Creek Red Head Rye
[draft - 10th Annual PA Microbrewers Fest, Pennsylvania Brewing Co. - Pittsburgh, PA] Poured a dark amber hue with a thin off-white head. Slightly citrusy aroma underneath a good malt base. Initial malt taste with a hint of oranges near the end that gave it a nice touch of sweet. Crisp and refreshing finish.

Deep Creek Holy Cow India Pale Ale
Hoppy sweet and floral aromas. Lighter gold color, good lacing. Sweet and fruity malts mixed with an almost assertive pine hop. Very smooth body with a nice crisp finish. Could drink a few of these without being overwhelmed. (Tasted at the PA Microbrewer Fest)

Deep Creek White Dog Wheat
From the appearance (white/gold, hazy, fluffy head and lacing) and the aroma (herbal, clove), I would’ve guessed it was a Wit? Palate was very soft and smooth, not thick, but full of flavor. Lemon, banana, fruity, cloves; this was a really good summer beer!

Deep Creek Youghiogheny Red
[draft - 10th Annual PA Microbrewers Fest, Pennsylvania Brewing Co. - Pittsburgh, PA] Poured a deep, dark amber color with a thin off-white head. Semi-sweet and citrusy aroma. Initial flavor was a good blast of malt with a sweet backbone and a creamy balanced finish. A tad on the watery side, but not too much so, and very clean and bitter-free finish.

Deep Creek Holy Cow India Pale Ale
Pale goldish wheat in color with a small head. Tastes of hops and barley and hops and water. It was a little too weak and a little too bitter for me, althoug overall, I liked it alright. And I love the logo.

Deep Creek Angry Clown Brown Ale
A decent brown, although a little watery and I missed the "smooth balanced hop finish". Otherwise- nice ruddish brown color, tasty oaky malt.

Deep Creek Angry Clown Brown Ale
This red muddy brown ale had a loose but lingering head. The aroma was that of a nice smooth nut brown ale, and the taste didn’t disappoint. Woody and complex, worth sinking your teeth into.

Crystal clear, deep amber ale with a whispy, off-white head and sparse lacing. Fruity, citrusy aroma with notes of toffee. Well-bittered, malty flavor with blasts of caramel and grapefruit. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish.

Deep Creek Golden Ale
Crystal clear, golden ale with a small, fizzy white head. The aroma is fresh and grainy. Smells like simmering mash. Lots of aromatic pale malt and light, earthy hallertau hops. Rich, malty flavor with perfect balance. Medium-bodied despite the low ABV. Oily mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Lengthy, smooth, strawy finish. Me likes!

Dark for an amber, but a good attempt. Nice use of malt, very light on the hops. Starts with a decent head and average nose. Goes down easy. Just a tad watery.

Their best brew, according to the bartender. Nice hops. Better than most "golden ales", actually has a little complexity. Easy start and finish, a good drinking beer
