Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of orange, mango, pineapple and hints of spruce. Boutip	3.8 Flying Monkeys Divinity Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a small brown foamy head with limited retention and minor lacing. Aroma of deeply caramelized malt with some toffee notes with some dates and figs notes with Xeres barrel notes with some residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt notes and some dates and figs notes and Xeres notes with quite a bit of residual sugar and some cardboard notes. Body is pretty full with light carbonation with some warming alcohol notes. Enjoyable barleywine but a little bit too sweet for my taste. Tuesday, March 12, 2024

Aroma is sweet marshmallowy vanilla with a sharp herbal note and some mellow citrus. Flavour has nice marshmallow vanilla sweetness with a sort of odd harsh herbal character and some grapefruit. Metalchopz	3.6 Flying Monkeys Squishy A very slight unfiltered haze, golden colour with a creamy warm off-white head, long lasting and leaving thick lacing. Marshmallow essence in the nose, with citrus notes and herbal hints. A little tropical fruit as well, continuing in the flavours with the touch of candy, but some solid grassiness that cuts the richness, and creates a nice dry finish. Metalchopz	3.7 Flying Monkeys Gloop Breakfast IPA Slightly unfiltered golden colour with a whitish frothy head, good retention and leaving some creamy lacing streaks. Fruity, peach aromas with a touch of vanilla, a caramel malt base. The peach continues in the taste, but not as sweet-fruity because of the grassy hops cutting this, and the vanilla showing a bit more, but still not too much to enrich things. Expecting a big, sweet Breakfast IPA, but no - a decent, hoppy enough peachy one. Friday, January 5, 2024
Metalchopz	3.6 Flying Monkeys Yummo Citrus IPA Unfiltered, with lots of particles, golden colour with a frothy-bubbly, off-white head, decent stay and some foamy lacing spots. Papaya aromas with other tropical fruits, some orange juice base and some Life Savers candy hints. The taste shows the candy with some grassiness, mild bitterness. Getting hazier as it pours, with lots more particles floating around. Juicy, wet mouthfeel with just a little dryness in the end. More or less building. Lots of fruity flavours here with a tad candiness to it, make this an interesting fruit punch, citrusy IPA. Friday, January 5, 2024
Metalchopz	3.7 Flying Monkeys Meep Morp High-Density Hop-Charged IPA Unfiltered golden colour with a bunch of transparent particles running through it. A frothy head, average stay and some foamy lacing. Citrus juice aromas with some berry (gummy bears), herbal notes and a touch of vanilla. The taste shows more of a grassy side of the hops, but still well-balanced with some citrusy zest-juices. The mouthfeel is juicy with a little dryness. Zest tart is left on the tongue. A nice refreshing, juicy IPA on the NEIPA-side, but with a decent West Coast hint. Friday, January 5, 2024
Metalchopz	3.2 Flying Monkeys Psychedelic Puzzle Factory Lightly unfiltered, amber colour with a creamy-frothy, warm light-beige head, good retention and lots of sticky lacing. Berry-peach essences for aromas with some caramel malt sweetness. The custard comes out in the flavours with the peach-berry notes, and some bitterness cutting the sweetness in the finish. Gets quite dry in the end. Still, pretty sweet at the start, and getting more of the peach essence than the berry ones. Not a bad Double IPA on the dessert side, but a touch too rich for my likings. robinvboyer	1.9 Flying Monkeys Psychedelic Puzzle Factory slightly hazy pinkish purple pour, with an off white head. Aroma is just a blast of vanilla, and random berries. Some zesty citrus oils mingle in there with some light herbal notes. Mouth feel is soft, carb is the same. Bitterness is high and astringent. Fruit becomes slightly cloying, and bitterness becomes extremely pithy, and off putting with a harsh random berryness again. What an absolute mess. Thursday, December 28, 2023

Aroma is ultra-intense: dark chocolate, chocolate nougat, Mars bar, Kit-Kat, tonka bean, Maltesers, Twix, milk chocolate, chocolate drop... Despite its nose, taste is dry.
