2.7 Voralpenbräu Weizen Beer No. 115 (also the last one) on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark. Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow coloured, small white head, mild yeasty and canned corn in the nose. Malty, light yeasty and wheaty with fruity and discreet spicy notes in the finish. Helles was better. 3 Voralpenbräu Helles Beer No. 114 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark. Draught at the brewpub. Yellow/golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away slowly, grainy nose. 3.2 Voralpenbräu Dunkles Draught at the brewpub: Malty aroma with intensive caramel notes. Light brown to brown color. Creamy head. Nice malty flavor. Fresh notes of caramel, toffee and roasted malt. Light dry, bitter finish. A bit light bodied. Wednesday, November 1, 2006 | |
