coasternut	3.5 Iron Horse Gato Grande This is quite a good beer. It pours a reddish amber brown with a small head. It kind of looks like a Modelo Negra with the same taste profile only a little more hoppy. A nice light dark lager that is tasty and smooth with almost the right balance of roasted malts and hops. Fatehunter	3.8 Iron Horse Gato Grande Clear, dark amber body with a couple fingers of head. Aroma is mild roasted malts. Taste is smooth malty sweet, a touch of bitter to round it out. Texture is medium, moderate carbonation. It has good flavor and profile. Wednesday, February 14, 2024

coasternut	3.9 Iron Horse Timothy Hay-Z I've had this can for a while, BOD. 11/2/22. Pours a hazy golden color with a large creamy head (due to aging) and a fair amount of lacing. It has some creamy mouthfeel. The aroma is bread & grains and melon with slight tropical fruit. I think the aging has changed the hop taste as it is quite smooth & mellow. Friday, December 15, 2023

Taste is lightly bittersweet with flavors of chocolate, raisins, faint cinnamon. Mouthfeel is slightly thin and a touch watery. Monday, December 4, 2023

Med body at least. Flavor is a huge amount of hazelnut with some chocolate and supporting burnt malt. Not dry, but not sticky. Burnt malt bitter. Somebody must really like hazelnuts. Kleg	3 Iron Horse Aloha Death Can from Brix Bottle Shop in Kalispell, MT. Pours a super dark brown color with a beige head and good retention. Scarce lacing. Coconut aroma dominates. Strong coconut flavor to match the nose, with a little chocolate in the finish. The coconut flavor is overpowering and cloying, but i don't think this beer would have ANY flavor without it. Medium-light body. Low carbonation and no bitterness. It's okay for a change, but I don't want more than one. Thursday, August 4, 2022

Kleg	3.1 Iron Horse PB & Death Can from Brix Bottle Shop in Kalispell, MT. Pours a very dark brown color with a thick beige head and very good retention. Fair lacing. Aroma of molasses and booze. Subtle molasses and caramel flavor with surprisingly little peanut butter flavor in the finish. Not getting any chocolate. The whole beer has very mild flavors overall. Medium body. Low carbonation. Low bitterness. Low flavor. At least the 6.5% ABV is well hidden. Not bad, but disappointing. Monday, August 1, 2022
Kleg	4.2 Iron Horse Cozy Sweater (2014-) Can from Withey's Health Foods in Kalispell, MT. Pours a pitch black color with ruby highlights and a tight beige head with very good retention. Good lacing. Dark milk chocolate aroma. The taste follows the nose: Sweet (but not too sweet) dark chocolate and malt flavor dominates. The lactose and vanilla are very mild. Medium-heavy body and a semi-creamy mouthfeel. Low carbonation and almost no bitterness. Rich, yet repeatable. Very good. Wednesday, July 27, 2022

Pours hazy burnt orange-golden with a one+ finger cream-white head with excellent retention, leaving curtains of lace. Taste has a light pithy bitterness with citrusy hop flavors, finishing very dry.
