Alengrin	3.3 L Ambrasse-Temps One of the staple tap beers of Dubuisson-owned Brasse-Temps, tasted in the Mons establishment but equally available at the other one in Louvain-la-Neuve, probably following the exact same recipe but physically brewed at another location; I will leave it to the admins to decide whether both ‘versions’ should be aliased or not but since I had this at Brasse-Temps Mons, it seemed logical to add it under their proper brewery entry. Medium thick, regular, pale greyish-tinged white, stable, moussy head on a hazy brownish copper-coloured beer with deep amber hue. Aroma of red apple, wet peanuts, lightly toasted bread, sweet field flowers, hard caramel candy, rainwater, dry tree leaves, sugared tea. Sweetish apple and dried tomato peel onset with a very light banana-ish accent, very minerally, souring carbonation, lean and slick caramelly malt body, more nutty in the middle and eventually lightly bitterish toasted pairing with a floral, bit herbal hop bitterish accent in the finish, a tad leafy but the caramelly and lightly toasty maltiness dominates. Simple, typical Belgian amber ale, albeit a tad darker and maltier than is the case in a standard ‘spéciale belge’; quenching and nice on a hot day but very easy and accessible, clearly made for a lesser educated, conservative Belgian palate. erickok	3.5 Le Brasse-Temps Brew Time Amber IPA Apparently a reworked recipe of an earlier ipa release (of which I can’t find much evidence). Marketed as l’Amber IPA and Brew Time Amber IPA. Amber hazy body, nice pearl white head. Modern raisin hops, amber malts. Belgian taste profile, fizzy carbonation, light bitter. Not very ipa, as it’s not very hoppy, but nice amber ale. erickok	3.2 L Ambrasse-Temps Light brown, copper body, small stable head. Brown caramel, raw amber malts, brown sugar. Fairly sweet, but pleasant enough. Simple taste, little watery even. erickok	3.1 Le Brasse-Temps Blanche Neuve Fruity for a wit, lemon peel and light banana as usual, but more malty than the big produced examples. I like it better for it. Taste is light and has a more artificial citrus note, and white sugar, less good than the aroma. Bit odd on mouthfeel, very small tingling carbonation. It’s okay. Jerre	3.4 L Ambrasse-Temps On tap 26.07.’14 at the brewpub. Copper / orange color, with a offwhite head. Aroma: very little aroma because beer has to cold, malts, sweet, caramel. Medium body. sebletitje	3.1 Le Brasse-Temps Blanche Neuve Draft @ Bush&Trolls, Dubuisson brewery in Pipaix. Couleur dorée, foin, col blanc. Blanche solide au nez agréable d’agrumes et citron, le tout sur qcq notes de froment. J’y ai noté très peu d’épices ou d’orange. En bouche, bière légère et agréable avec un bon profile malt et grains. Le tout garde un aspect fruité citronnelle sans pour cela offrir le côté épicé que l’on retrouve en général dans des blanches. Bierkrug	3.4 L Ambrasse-Temps On tap at the brewpub. Pours a deep golden color, with a thin beige head. Aroma is malt, hops and candy. Taste is mild alcohol and slips into a nice smooth maltiness. Palate end slightly bitter and then very dry. Quite nice. Thursday, April 21, 2011

thebeertourist	2 L Ambrasse-Temps On tap at the brewpub. Hazy, deep amber with a medium off-white head. Sweet fruity chewing gum aroma. Tastes like chewing gum, which is not terribly pleasant. Better than their wit (sorry, blanche) is my only compliment for this beer. Saturday, September 20, 2008

diabel	3.2 L Ambrasse-Temps Draught at the brew pub Deep amber to reddish, hazy body. Creamy head with brown hints. Some lightly smoked flavours with some fruits. It was hard to tell because it was served way too cold. My taste buds were frozen and the aromas didn’t have the chance to leave the beer. Lightly bitter flaovur with some fruity notes. Not a classical taste, however!. Tastes of fresh greenmalt, unfermented worts, very little either coriander, either citrus; malts in the front again at the end. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (lemon), with notes of coriander and sugar/syrup. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Light, watery, and bland, even given the style. Friday, March 25, 2005
