Benger Gold Wild Cider
I rate this above all other NZ ciders, clean crisp but very potent so not to be over consumed

Benger Gold Draught Cider
5% The body is watery. It smells dry-apple, natural. The taste is natural, most, bit dry, bit mild, bit herb.

Benger Gold Wild Cider
Bottled. A light yellow cider with no head. The aroma has notes of apples and vinegar. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of apples and apple cores, leading to a slightly tart finish. Nice and refreshing.

Benger Gold Wild Cider
Looks like white wine with dead yeast cells on the bottom. Smells of grapes and apples. Slightly sour with apple aromas. Slightly woody. Dry finish. Soft carbonation.

Benger Gold Wild Cider
Tasted 31/01/2008. Bottle from undisclosed sources, "courtesy" of Papsoe. Pale, bright and watery looking. Apple and corn chips on the nose. Clean granny smith crack, apple juice sweetness and sherbert-like acidity in the mouth. Clean and short. Finish is reminiscent of a spoonfull of tartaric acid in a pint of fizzy water. Only thing of any interest is the corn chips I picked up in the aroma. Could be worse though, it could be baked beans! There’s better things to get hammered on.

Benger Gold Wild Cider
(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, pale golden with a tiny, white head. Lightly tart apple aroma. Fairly light in body with dry and lightly acidic apple notes with a fairly high carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. 310108

Benger Gold Wild Cider
Bottle: Very pale, almost sauvignon blanc-like green tinged gold and hazy. Lovely aroma of tart apples alogn with some faint floral notes and a few strws of hay and a slice of lemon. Tastes green (as in apple green). Granny smiths really stand out to me. Nice and tart with a very pleasing length. Simple and really nice. A good, clean, freash cider.
