hawthorne00	3.7 Bridge Road / Moffat Beach Hazy Harvest (2024) Can. Murky apricot with a fat coat of white head. Sharpish citrus, berries, under-ripe tropical fruit, crackers. But the taste is mellower than expected with some twiggy notes as well as fruit before a finish that's more dry than bitter. Interesting. Monday, April 15, 2024

Slightly earthy with some under-ripe tropical notes. 8- Fruitier upon a swig with nectarines and tropical touches which complement the mocha bun malt. Bitterness builds after a while. LesArgen	3.1 Bridge Road Fa La La La La La La La La Vanilla Ice Cream Beer It's a very pale beer and I'm not expecting much, but I get a really rich aroma of vanilla, caramel, lemon and a little coffee. KeefOz	3.2 Bridge Road Fog Jnr From a can poured a cloudy yellow-amber with 5mm of bright white open foam that diminished slowly to a blotchy cap that laced well. Carbonation high, lively and medium to very coarse. Aroma strongly of mixed fruity, some lemony citrus and tropical fruits. a slightly unpleasant tartness/zestiness. taste of citrus (orange juice, grapefruit zest) and mixed tropicals; low to moderate bitterness. A bit - but not too - bubblegummy. Lightish bodied. Fruity and sweet for a while before a bitter and almost bitingly herbal finish. Then it turns out to have more depth than it first appears, with singed dark sugars and strong bread before quite firm bitterness accompanies the ginger at the end. Interesting. Brooding toffee and stewed fruit aroma with lighter tropical fruits struggling through. But the hops cut though more than I recall they do in fm,rs,bs and the sweetness is less prominent. Aroma is lightly grainy with light spices and a little apricot. Almost clean - there's a tiny earthy touch - with crackery bread, very little apricot but a nicely punchy spicy bitter finish. Floaty aroma of honeydew melon, green pine branch, glace pineapple, caramel. After the slightly surprising lightness of the aroma the caramelised and dank torpical notes (remininscent of Bridge Rd's Hop Rain) make the whole thing more like the balancing act you'd expect. But citrus and some strong weedy and piny notes roar through in the taste towards a firmly bitter finish. Not quite sure it's the best of both worlds but it's interesting and pungent. KeefOz	3.7 Bridge Road Pine Lime Sour BB 04.04.24. From a can poured a clouded yellow-amber (bit like pineapple juice) with 5mm of bright white dense foam that retained very well and laced well. Carbonation extremely low, average and very coarse (virtually flat). Aroma strongly of pineapple and lime. Taste of pineapple and lime (as expected) with moderate tartness (nice, not mouth-puckering). Light to medium body. Smooth, crisp, clean, refreshing and slightly dry with a lingering finish. Maris	3 Bridge Road Ooft From a 355ml can on 14/7/2023. Pours a hazy pinky red with a small head. Has a light raspberry nose. Tastes of raspberry with hints of vanilla, with a modest tart finish. Very light creamy mouthfeel and prickly carbonation.Not very sweet, pastry or smoothie like in presentation. Not awful but not in the least bit notable.
