KeefOz	3.8 Jasper Trail Session IPA Draught at Jasper Brewing, Jasper, AB. Poured a clouded yellow-amber with 5mm of bright white open foam that diminished quickly to a blotchy cap that laced OK. Carbonation extremely extremely rare, lively and coarse (ie flat). Aroma strongly of cirtus (orange and grapefruit fruits with zesty hints) and tropical fruits (mango, maybe pineapple). Taste strongly of citrus (grapefruit fruit and zest, hints of orange) and hints of tropical fruits (mango, pineapple); medium bitterness. Light body. Smooth, crisp, clean and refreshing with a lingering finish. Tasty, easy drinking, nice. Monday, August 14, 2023

Carbonation nil (ie. flat). Aroma slightly of biscuity malt; no obvious hops. Taste slightly of semi-sweet citrus with hints of pale malt; no real bitterness. Light body. Smooth with short finish. KeefOz	2.3 Jasper The Bear Ale From a can poured a clear amber with a frothy head. Carbonation low. Aroma subtly of pale malt; no obvious hops. Taste subtly of pale malt with maybe some hops and citrus; semi-sweet; no real bitterness. Light body. Smooth with a short finish. Monday, August 14, 2023

cmacklin	3.2 Jasper Key Lime Pie 473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy straw colour with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of grainy pale malt, lime and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy pale malt, lime, faint vanilla and leafy green hops in a crisp, dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Not really getting any pie notes. This is essentially a lime beer. Having said that, it's refreshing and went down easy after mowing the lawn. Monday, June 12, 2023

The bitterness of the hops serves as a counterbalance to the end. The bitterness of the closed hops is dominant, which effectively combines the sweetness of malt and caramel to make it sweet but not cloying Body: Fresh body, strong sandy taste, typical drinking style raga Feelings: This is the original look of a traditional beer, featuring malt and traditional hops, but nothing else. BOTnakke	4 Jasper Rock Hopper IPA Bottle, 22 oz from Jasper Brewing Company. Bottle brought home to Denmark from Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Pours a clear golden with a white dense head. Hoppy aroma in the nose. Strong taste, floral, a little caramel and lots of fruity hops. Medium carbonation. A very nice beer, taste almost like a double IPA. Monday, November 26, 2018
DraftDodger	3.1 Jasper Fire Engine Red Ale Jasper 22/7 2018. 50 cl on tap on Jasper Brewing’s Brewpub. While waiting for Via Rail (again). Pours clear red amber with small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the side of the glass. Moderate lacing. Aroma is sweet but subdued due to the cold serving temperature. Gets stronger as it warms up Sweet caramel, lightly roasted dark malts with hints of toffee. Soft carbonation. Soft, slightly thick, texture. Flavor has fairly strong sweetness followed by noteable bitterness. Aftertaste is surprisingly bitter and roasted, Lingering. Might not be red as an Fore Engine but certainly a decent Amber Ale. Thursday, November 1, 2018

Light to medium body. Flavor is dominated by the vanilla and the blueberry plays second fiddle. This was a bit off at first but the more I tasted it the better I liked it. Easy drinking. Light to medium body. Flavor is caramel malts with the same light fruit and citrus as the aroma. Finishes with a light bitterness. Head is bright white and foamy. Aroma is quince, orange peel, not much more. Mouthfeel is fresh, round, quite bitter and long-lasting. Good. Thursday, September 13, 2018

Served with a little slice of lemon just to make me suspicious. Pours slightly hazy amber. Small white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam. Very moderate lacing. Aroma is sweetish with strong sour notes. Subtle Honey sweetness, robust caramel, sour berries. Light carbonation. Medium thick, Soft texture. Flavor is more sour than sweet. Light sweetness followed by medium sour bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter sour. Lingering. A Honey Beer where the Honey is only allowed a modest role. More fruity, berry and sour. Settles as 2 cm thick, dense layer of foam. Some nitrogen tap in play. Massive lacing. Aroma is sweet and medium intense. Dark chocolate, coffee bitterness, caramel, light roastiness, stale tobacco and light saltiness. Soft carbonation. Velvet, medium thick, Soft texture. Flavor is fairly moderate and discrete. Light sweetness followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering for a short while. A stout in the style of Guinness and Kilkenny. Not the worst inspiration to chase. Light sweet exotic fruit. Medium strong sour bitter notes of citrus. Medium carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture. Flavor has fairly strong sweetness followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers shortly. Overall a slightly thin and watery IPA. Get most things right but could use a little intensity. Tuesday, July 24, 2018

piscator34	3.3 Jasper Crisp Pils Can. Straw in colour with a bit of haze and medium carbonation. Fairly straightforward aromas of pilsner malt, wet stones, and a bit of dried grass. VertBaconStrips	3.4 Jasper Crisp Pils Maybe I'm in the mood for a brew like this without even knowing it but damn did that first sip hit the spot! Super refreshing and zippy. Lots of clean grains, dry wild grass and lemon, surprisingly hoppy on the back end. Leave a dead dry mouthfeel that battles with the salivation. Plenty of flavour here to go around.
