3.2 Metbräu Gerstenbier I had a beer on the 14.02. from Neuwirth at the Bauernladen Die 3 Bauern in Citypark, Graz, the waitress had no idea which one it was (saying only something like semi dunkles and it wasn definitely gold). Mailed the brewery about it, no answer, so I’m putting it here like Ogi did. Poured a dark golden going ochre body with a medium sized persistent white head. Malty, grainy light nose. Light, slightly grainy maltiness, yeasty, some egginess, light hopiness, herbal, going way into the aftertaste. All in all quite nice. Thursday, March 19, 2009

3.2 Metbräu Gerstenbier Draught at Bauernladen Die 3 Bauern in Citypark, Graz. I suppose this is the right one. Dark golden coloured, small white head, mild acidic nose. Rather sweet malty, fresh hoppy and hay taste with touch of alcohol in the finish. Refreshing. Wednesday, February 18, 2009

3.6 Metbräu Dinkelbier Draught at Bauernladen Die 3 Bauern in Citypark, Graz. I’ve asked the waitress which beers did they have. She said only Dinkel. So, who’s wrong Geiserich or me??? Cloudy dark yellow coloured, small white head that went away slowly, dusty light grainy nose. Grainy, hoppy, light yeasty and herbal with lemon acidity in the finish. Nice and refreshing Dinkel.
