Vladpivo Zhigulevskoe Primorskoe
500ml bottle as Zhigulyovskoye Primorskoye at 4.5% ABV. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is corn and butterscotch. Taste is medium sweet, malt, rice. Low bitter finish. Typical Zhigulyovskoye lager. Nice retro label with a prawn wearing a tux.

Golden colored, medium white creamy head, OK lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is of some malt, grains, some bread and quite low grassy hops. Taste is low+ sweet malt, cereal, bread, low grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, watery texture, lively carbonation.

Clear, yellow-golden colored, small non lasting white head. Aroma of malt, corn, some grains. Taste is shallow, some malt and corn, bit of grains and maybe a grassy note or two but very low bitterness. Light bodied and watery, lively carbonation. Straight from the tank at Vladivostok brewery before bottling, the temperature is a nice 2.5°C so you know it is even worse.

Aroma sweet syrupy malt. Clear golden colour. Stable white head. Taste is of balanced sweetness and bitterness, both coming from ingredients of abysmal quality. Really really bad one.

Bottle in Vladivostok. Pours a clear yellow golden with a moderate white head. Aroma is pale malts, light caramel and citrus. Flavor is the same, pale malts, with hints of caramel, citrus and grass. Middle of the road in the Russian Pale Lager world.

Bottle. Clear, pale gold. Small white head. Sickly sweet, diacethyl aroma, slightly grassy hops. Ditto for flavor, plus a pinch of maltiness. Somewhat corny, dryish aftertaste. Watery and strange.

Bottled. Pale goldish, with minor white head. The aroma consists of hops, a scent that isn’t all that distinct. The flavour consists mainly of malt and it has a sweet and dry after taste.

Pale yellow, small disapperiang white head. Grassy hoppy aroma with strong diacetyl presence. Light, malty, some grassyness and even alcohol plus some butterscotch. Harsh finish.
