03-OCT-2014, draft @Work, served by Miracle - and free. They always taste good:-) Hazy orange with a huge, creamy, lacing, lasting, off-white head. Aroma is hops and sweet malt. Taste is straw, fruity malt, flowery hops, a Little citrus. Fruit - a touch of orange. Fine drink for a Friday afternoon beer.

Keg (HBF2009)
Vague beer aroma. Slight elastoplasty taste, malty too. Drinkable, but a bit sweet. Bland. Finish is elastoplast. Not doing it for me. Are you sure this is an ale - they’ve managed to capture all the blandness of lager in it!

Amber with a lasting, off-white head. Aroma is completely dominated by clove, not from any kind of yeasty phenols, but simply like sticking your nose in a jar of spice. A hint of malt aroma in the background. Flavour is dry and thin, and again completely dominated by the clove. The base beer is rather thin and boring and the spice doesn’t make me happy.

A hazy golden beer with a green hue and a fine white head. Mainly yeasty and fruity aroma with a herby touch. Flavor is fruity hoppy with a biding mouthfeel and some yeasty grassy tones. A pretty nice and refreshing beer though I have a hard time believing it is an altbier.

I was confused when I drank this beer, since the waiter knew absolutely nothing about it - and drinking it I really couldn’t figure out the type, then reading the description of the beer, my confusion is complete - I really can’t figure out what the brewer has been trying to make.

A hazy amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is slightly acidic with notes of straw and barn-yard. The flavor is sweet and acidic with strong herbal notes as well as lesser fruity notes - especially oranges, leading to an end, that is more herbal than hoppy. I sure hope the confusion wears off.
