yngwie	3.5 Meierhöfer Dunkel Growler, shared by Maria. A hazy, orange-golden beer with a dense, off-white head. Quite fruity on the nose, with caramel sweetness and hoppy notes. Fruity flavor with caramel sweetness. Dries up nicely and a fine bitterness enters. Medium body with pleasant carbonation. Caramel and fine bitterness in the finish. yngwie	3.2 Meierhöfer Bernstein Weizen Growler, shared by Maria. It’s a hazy, dark orange to golden beer with a small, off-white head. Banana and caramel in the aroma, quite fruity. A little sour hint too, and a bit low on cloves I think. Banana and caramel flavor with a sourish touch. Some cloves and bitterness, but overall on the sweet side. Medium body with good effervescency. The finish has the initial flavor and decent bitterness. A decent weizen but I prefer them less sourish. 090823 Sunday, December 20, 2009

MesandSim	3.3 Meierhöfer Helles A Mes rate. Growler at LCRBM #5. Clean pale gold with a short lived white head. Slightly buttery but some lovely slightly sweet pale malt underneath along with a decent lick of hops. Clean and tasty. Nice bright hoppy finish with a developing sweetness in the aftertaste. diabel	3.5 Meierhöfer Dunkel At LCRBM 2009, Kulminator, Antwerp (Belgium) Deep caramelish brown, muddy body. Lightly brown, creamy head. Aroma of wine, orange (peel), cara-malts, some stronger malts, ... quite fresh with a warming touch. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Thin, sweetish nose with vague caramel and fruit notes. Lightly sweet taste before firm, sticky bitterness rolls in without much to check it. Where’s the malt? One-dimensional.
