Ninkasi Hop Cooler Citrus IPA 3.9
Bomber from the grocery store. Aroma is bready, nutty, wheat cracker, earthy, citrus, menthol. Pours mostly clear golden with a medium bone-white head that falls after a minute, leaving some lace. Taste is highly bitter, biscuity, light citrus. Good. You would think the citrus would be way more prominent, though, given the label and deScription.

At Mattís place. Citrusy and tropical fruits in the aroma. Quite similar to Total Domination IPA as for me. Tropical fruits bitterness in intense taste and a quite dry aftertaste. Good for people who like bitter beer.

Hazy golden color, small head. Light toffee aroma. Dry mouthfeel, good toffee malt body, strong bitterness, although it has some vegetable bitterness, chicory. Iím missing fresh hop notes.

Ninkasi Hop Cooler Citrus IPA 3.8
22 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of oranges and citrusy hops, backed by just enough biscuity malt. Flavour is very fresh and bright, with lovely citrus hops upfront, with lots of citrus juiciness, and just enough biscuity malt. Bright, balanced and finishing fairly dry. Really nice stuff.

Ninkasi Hop Cooler Citrus IPA 3.7
22 oz bottle from Bullfrog Wine & Spirits. Clear orange appearance with a lacy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, zesty hops, tropical fruits, light floral notes, grass, light pine and a hint of hop resin. Similar flavor, adding moderate hop bitterness balanced by a light malt sweetness. Medium body with a dry, bitter finish. A pretty pleasant IPA overall.

Almost pours like a seltzer. Looks like a cider or champagne...smells like Budweiser or malt liquor...but tastes like a Belgian ale. That yeasty sourness, but not bad.

Ninkasi Hop Cooler Citrus IPA 3.6
Growler fill from Andrew Hilton wine & spirits in Lethbridge. Best store. Visit it. Pours a nice yellow gold colour with thin white head, sparse lacing. Aroma is bright citrus fruit with nice fruity hop stuff. Taste is light pineapple, peach deliciousness. Very well balanced fruity hop character. Light on the palate. Again very balanced, light for the abv. Really nice. Overall this is a very nice beer. Nice change from the beer I normally drink in january. Would drink again. 10/10 bananas .

Ninkasi Sour of Love 3.5
On tap at Growler Guys. Pours cloudy pink-orange with a collapsing white head. Flavor is very lactic (6/10 on a sour scale), cranberries, dry, grainy. Aroma is lactic, grainy, pretty faint, though. Body is thin, mouthfeel creamy. Very pedestrian for a sour, but I think this might be Ninkasiís first sour, if not itís one of the first. Itís good, though, and I hope they keep experimenting with sours.

Ninkasi Sour of Love 3.5
14 oz pint- Pours very hazy pinkish grapefruit with a thin head and decent lace. Aroma is slightly sour, lactic, fruit forward. The taste is subdued, lactic, unsweetened fruit. Not bad for an attempt at a sour.

Ninkasi Hop Cooler Citrus IPA 3.7
22 oz bottle. Pours hazy copper orange with a big fluffy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is a little subdued - fruity piney hops with some bready caramel malts.

The flavor is oily resiny hops with some sweet fruit and a bit of a harsh bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, when I had this earlier, I remember it being more fruity and not as harsh.

Ninkasi Hop Cooler Citrus IPA 4.8
You have to battle through the hop aroma to find the citrus scent on the back end. Very hazy copper with nice soapy head. Real nice balance between the citrus and hops. The flavor moves through the hops the juice the malts and the rind zest. Its my 3rd citrus ipa of the night and the best one. Left over is a balanced hop and citrus rind bitter untill you refresh with the next citrus.

Darkmagus82
Ninkasi Dawn of the Red India Red Ale 3.7
Poured from bomber into a pint glass Appearance Ė The beer pours a golden orange color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a fantastic level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell Ė The smell is big and potent. It is strongest of a sweeter caramel smell mixed with other sweet aromas of tropical fruits (tangerine, mango, and pineapple). Along with these aromas comes some bready and doughy smells as well as some lighter notes of a citrus hop and a little bit of grass. Overall, the aroma is invitingly sweet and alluring. Taste- The taste begins with a strong caramel sweetness with a rich lightly toasted doughy taste. These flavors remain very strong throughout and are joined by some lighter notes of a tropical fruit sweetness as the taste moves forward. All the while a little bit more roast comes to the tongue as well as some light pine and earthy hop tastes. In the end a sweet and lightly hopped malty taste is left to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel Ė The body of the brew is thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is rather low. For the sweet and rich malty tastes of the brew the feel is quite nice, creating a thick medium for the rich flavors to bath the tongue. Overall Ė Not really strong on the hop at all like I was expecting, but overall a rather nice, sorta sweeter brew. It definitely has its place and is certainly worth at least a try.

Ninkasi Hop Cooler Citrus IPA 3.9
Bomber. Sweet citrus aroma of tangerine and orange with some pine resin hop notes in the back ground. Pours golden orange colored with a thick off white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with sweet but slight tangy citrus flavors of tangerine and orange. Finishes dry with piney hop bitterness that not overpowering but does linger on the palate. Nice IPA.

Ninkasi Ground Control 3.6
Draft at Bru Craft. Opaque black pour with slight off-white foam. A fairly wild fruity dark brew that goes down maybe too easy. Espresso. Bitter chocolate. Dark fruit. Black plums. Roasted filberts. Blackberries. Black currants. Vanilla beans. Blackberries. Molasses. Liquorice root. Sweet dark fruit with a strong alcoholic edge. Too harsh. Good but not perfect.

Ninkasi Oatis Oatmeal Stout - Vanilla 3.8
Poured dark oily black to a goblet. Head came and went. Deep charred oak up front. Vanilla is there, but the deep almost burnt roast to the malt keeps it from being cookie like. Nice light hop floating over to keeping everything in balance. Almost a hint of lime in the finish? Very palatable suds.

Ninkasi Hop Cooler Citrus IPA 3.6
651 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, tiny bubbled, well retained, ivory head, with slight lacing, over a clear, particle laden, dark gold (SRM 6) body......nose is pine, resin, orange, tangerine, light toasted malts.....taste is very slightly sweet, with pine, resin, orange, tangerine, finishing with moderate hop bitterness.....mouth feel, medium body, slightly sticky, mil alcohol, carbonation adds creaminess. This is a well made, thoroughly enjoyable, West Coast IPA. It is highly aromatic, has pleasant flavors and a nice bitterness. The malts are as is typical with most, newer IPA s, are rather subdued and hidden by the additives and the hops. BJCP 8/2/12/4/7

Ninkasi Sour of Love 3.2
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy pink-tinged orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a mix of cranberries, lacto notes, and an unmistakeable acidic quality. Flavour is well-balanced with these elements, featuring notes of acidic cranberries and lacto above anything. Thin but suitable palate, showcasing a nice yogurty quality. Solid stuff, just not very exciting.
