Lovibonds Mosaic Pale Ale
Draught at the Argyll Pub & Kitchen, Henley on Thames, Oxon. Hazed gold with white head. There is a light, resinous bitterness to this from the off, not getting the full on fruitiness of Mosaic hops but there is a citrus element to this, fresh, tangy. Light throughout. A pleasant beer.

Lovibonds Henley Gold (post 2009)
Bottled, 330ml from Kay Gee's Off Licence, Didcot, Oxon. Gold with white head. This proved to be a clean, crisp Wheat Ale, light banana, estery notes, pear drops. It is a touch on the thinnish side, but there are notes of lemon, hay and clove. It's fine.

Draught at the Apothecary Tap, Banbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. There are lager malts to the fore with this beer, quite fruity, some caramel, some sweet white grape notes. Restrained on the palate, relatively clean, biscuity in character. It's okay.

Bottle bought at A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Herby/grassy aroma with a touch of sweetness. Light gold. Thick foamy head. Medium bitter. Some quinine at first before a citrus streak sweeps through. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. Old school APA. Nice enough.

Lovibonds Henley Amber
Bottle ordered from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Bitter edged aroma of citrus, bery and spice, i.e. marmalade. Amber. Creamy translucent white head. Medium bitter. A slight tang. Malty base. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. I note that it's yet another bitter now rebranded as Pale Ale - would have thought they'd have gone with Amber Ale but then their gold is a Wheat Beer. Decent enough. Peppy.
