Flasche 2l. Süffiges Gebräu im Landbier-Stil. Bemerkenswert die sehr präsente kernige, karamelige Malznote. Hopfen sehr dezent im Hintergrund. Sehr gut gelungen, auch aus der Flasche.

Vom Fass at the brewpub. It’s unclear, dark golden and the aroma has notes of spicy fruits, yeast, malt and a touch of alcohol. The flavor is sweet, spicy with light notes of fruit and fresh grain, and the alcohol burns in an OK way. The finish is slightly dry and fairly spicy.

From tap at the brewpub. It’s unclear red amber with a huge, creamy head. The aroma is lovely fruity-spicy, bready and signals fresh brewed beer. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of spicy fruits/hops, newly harvested grain, bread and the finish is slightly dry.

Ordered and the brew pub. Came to me a cloudy amber/orange with a pillowy long-lasting head. Smelled citrusy and bready. Tasted sweet, not bitter. Light/medium body. Abrupt bitter finish with little aftertaste.

This is a classic german landbier. Unfilitered, golden amber, with a noble nose of hops. Soft on the mouth, far too drinkable. Subtle noble hop background, nice light toasty maltiness.

Brauhaus Wiesenmühle Wiesenmühlenbier
Draught Rather orange-amber, with a haze under yellowish head. A nose as if the tapper had freshly cut oranges, superimposed on a bit of lightly coloured malts. Fresh malt flavours, even some greenmalt, and just a point of diacetyl at the end. There’s an additional little fruity sourness I cannot really place. Medium bodied at best; yeast toned if not really filled. Middle-of-the-read, litteraly and figuratively.

Draught – Hazy amber body, white head; Very discrete nose with some hop, malt and grain apparent; huge sharp carbonation in watery neutral body; Into bitter finish, lasting long, seems very sharp on the watery texture, a little fat buttery malt as aroma. Not really a well made beer.

Brauhaus Wiesenmühle Bernstein Weizen
Draught – Hazy golden, orange, beautiful creamy white head; Small grain nose with just a little banana behind; Neutral body, a little acidity, very little carbonation, watery and a bit bitter; Quite bitter finish watery texture, into some acidity, no aroma. This beer doesn’t seem fresh (I had it freshly pored) and is way below German standards.
