3.1 Lonzi Naturtrüeb Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of beerlady. It pours a beautiful hazy deep golden/ orange beer with an average-sized, nicely remaining white head which leaves a beautiful lacework. Aroma: Unique. Reminiscent of peanut butter, papaya, Lebkuchen and soy sauce. Some sourness emerging. Flavor and palate: Good malt character. Faintly sour. Hints of tobacco accompanied by peanut butter and papaya. Some soy sauce sneaking in. Very low carbonation. Late bitterness. Medium bodied. Overall impression: Interesting. Thanks a lot beerlady! 3.5 Lonzi Naturtrüeb cloudy golden-orange colour under a little but persistant white head; aroma of cream, butter and peanuts with biscuity notes in the background; solid rounded malt body and a decent bitterness; a long biscuity maltiness appears again in the finish - a good and interesting lager Saturday, June 3, 2006 | |
