MicroGrog	3.6 Philippe Daufresne Poiré Bottle from Appalachian. Duvel glass @ home. Clear, bright, yellow gold, good activity. Saline & caramel apple nose. Honey, poached grocery store pears, bitter skin, lemon seltzer finish. Syrupy at first, but parches by the end. Sizzling carbonation, average abv, juicy, better when cold. Okay to good. Aroma is earth, pear flesh and skin with faint rubbery phenols. Flavor is medium sweet, lightly acidic, pear flesh and skin, lightly earthy and rubbery phenolics with a dry finish. caesar	3.6 Philippe Daufresne Cidre Brut de Normandie Pur Jus Bottle from Berts Bierhuis Biltstraat, slightly different label as can be found here (http://cidreriedaufresne.com/1/cidre_poire_720076.html), at 4% ABV, medium sample. Hazy golden color, short frothy head. Aroma of apple, dry wood, cork almost, bit flowery. Quite dry in taste, again oak wood and ofcourse apples. Nice cider. Sunday, January 17, 2016

Aroma has cinnamon, apple, soft sweetness. Very nice. Low carbonation, lovely dry mouthfeel. Flavoru is powerful, good cinnamon-buns, sugary, caramel, green apple. GT	3.8 Philippe Daufresne Cidre de Normandie Pur Jus (Doux) 750mL c&c in Honfleur, France. Labeled as "Cidre de Normandie Pur Jus Philippe Daufresne". Listed as 3% abv. Pours golden with small bubbles and heavy sparkling carbonation. Cinnamon apple dessert nose with creme brulee and apple pie. Taste is drier with more tannin character. Cinnamon apples still abound nicely. Very dry finish with crisp apples finish. A bit tannic for me. Not powdery thankfully. No plastic. Very dry finish. Great stuff.
