sjogro	3.7 La Garenne Cidre Brut Bottle at Maakun’s. Clear orangey golden, still looking with some bubbles on top. Sweet apples, gone brown apple peels, mushy, earthy, moldy, cool cellar. minutemat	3.9 La Garenne Cidre Brut 75cl bottle popped to celebrate France’s win against Croatia, World Cup 2018. Cork explodes out. Pours a misty gold, high carbonation. Good sweet apple fruit. Taste sees the carbonation subside somewhat, nice vanilla-sweet medium apple fruit, dusty on the palette, drying close. Decent Picardy cidre. Sunday, July 15, 2018
minutemat	4.1 La Garenne Poiré 75cl bottle from Gamm Vert. Pours golden yellow with a faint mist. Lots of enthusiastic bubbles rising to the top. Aroma is sweet perry pear. Spritzy on the palette, a touch oily with elegant perry pear fruit, a touch syrupy, a little drying. Nice spritzy poiré. Friday, June 22, 2018

Countbeer	3.8 La Garenne Cidre Brut Bottled as Cidre Fermier de Picardie Brut. Lively small to medium sized bubble head which disappears right away. The color of this cider is (light) hazy yellow. Smell is a very nice mix of apple peel, fermented apples, stone, light yeasty/(wild) bacteria, garlic, vegetables, some barnyard, light dusty and just a sprinkle of something light spicy. Taste is a wild mix of apples, apple juice and peel, dust, stone bacteria, light dry, barn, wood, light creamy and some dust. There’s some apple sugars but not sweet, rather dry apple fermented juice. Aftertaste is a light dry mix of apples, dusty yeast, some sweetness and yeast bacteria. Medium to fuller lively carbo, sparkling refreshing mouthfeel, medium body and a fine light creamy slightly thinner texture. This is tasty stuff! Sunday, November 25, 2012
