1.9 A Tribbiera Mora 50 cL bottle. Pours almost clear golden amber to brown with a slowly collapsing tan head. Solid citric to acidic bite in the nose, cinnamon and clementines. Light caramel malt yet also something really sharp. Citric and spiced flavoured with a distinct citric and smoked infection and a solid spice note into the finish. Not good. 3 A Tribbiera Dea Clean, slightly honey aroma; again some malt honey in the mouth, but moderate and not cloying, and just balanced by some hops. Just a touch of lemony, on the way of becoming sourness, but better than I feared - being an old bottle. One of the few beers of this brewery that is not flavoured or spiced - and up to now the one that suffered less the travel and the age. Sunday, April 1, 2007 | |

3.2 A Tribbiera Mora A peculiar recipe of a dark beer, dry, almost a stout, ligthly flavoured with clementine (mandarins). The result is interesting and fairly enjoyable; even the sourish note that I found also in other Tribbiera’s beers (and which I don’t know if it is there on purpose) here seems to fit in some way.
