Miller Lite
12 oz. can from The Burrisí. Drank in SE Indiana while watching fireworks and listening to classic rock. Aroma: Only the slightest reference to grain and hop; on the plus side, there isnít a lot of in your face adjunct action going on. Appearance: Can. Flavor: Itís truly amazing how this can taste like nearly nothing... matches the nose. Palate: Lite body, sticky texture, lively carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Pretty much the perfect mindless party beverage. In terms of sheer beer enjoyment, however, it ranks pretty darn low.

Bottle. Granny Smith apple and caramel malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate but short lasting head. Moderate sweet-tart apple juice and caramel malt flavor. Okay body - light carbonation.

A 0.33 l bottle, produced in Italy. It poured a golden body with almost no head. Weak aroma of corn, hay and something like lemon. Flavor was lightly sweet to sour, again, traces of hay, lemon, corn malty. Thin bodied with a short, almost bland finish. Utterly empty, but smooth, drinkable and not that utterly bad as expected.

24 ounce can purchased at a local ghetto mart. Amazing sweet, cream corn and DMS presence. Lots of vegetal notes later on. Yikes. Transparent golden body with a medium, relatively strong white head present. Starts with a sweet, corny malt flavor with lots of DMS. Some slippery, buttery diacetyl comes through in the middle and the end. No other flavors. DMS and DIacetyl delight! To be honest, I can handle these flavors, and I have had much worse. This is a great beer to try, if youíre wondering what those two off-flavors taste like.

7/17/16. 12oz bottle from Warehouse. Dark gold pour under basically no head. Huge fake blueberry aroma, thatís about it. More to the flavor, which makes it worse. Fake blueberry, quite sweet, fusel, garbage grains. Tastes like weak blueberry malt liquor. Not good.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass. Aroma is strong bready lager malts with trace old bed sheet. Appearance is gorgeous clear, light copper with bountiful sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with fair retention and trace lacing. Taste is straightforward mildly sweet bready malt. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and sweet finish. Overall, absolutely no nuance but should you really expect it from a malt liquor? Iím embarrassed for myself but I think I have a soft spot for malt liquors...

Pours clear yellow color with small and short lasting white head. Smell is faint, malts, yeast, corn. Thin body with soft carbonation and watery texture. Taste is.... non existent. Carbonated water with slight malt sweetness. Seriously, where is the beer in this one? Itís like those carbonated mineral waters with taste, this one has some malts and corn in it. Pathetic excuse for a beer.

Reddís Cranberry Ale
Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours light, maybe pink tinged gold with a white head. Aroma of sweetish berry. Med minus minus body. Flavor is lightly sweet, mildly tart arguably crannish berry. Somehow my mouth finds it a bit astringent. Flavors are pretty mild. Think low sugar soda.

Steel Reserve Alloy Series Spiked Punch 211
From the 24 fl. oz. can that appears to be stamped 02616 on the bottom. It pours red. It smells like Hi-C or Hawaiian Punch but there is no alcohol present. The body is actually halfway decent in the light to medium range. The taste is basically Hawaiian Punch with a slight jigger of adjunct malts if I really think about it. This is the kind of beer you give to a non-drinker who wants to get sloshed for their very first time.

Olde English 800 (8%)
1.18 liter clear twist-off bottle. Brewed by the fabled "Olde English Brewing Co." Seems they are using the same equipment Pabst uses to bottle Colt 45 and St. Ides. Aroma is potent. Creamy corn and malt with a sharp acidity almost lemon/herbal in quality. Some fusels and a bit of metal as well. Flavor is pretty much OE just doubled. The sweetness is cloying enough i wouldnít even be that surprised if this is just that with some residual sugar and booze for added measure. Bit of municipal water character too. Its a decent hg. Not worth crossing the border for unless you are not happy with the plastic bottles or cans. It should pair well with this spicy/sweet curry i just made.

Reddís Wicked Apple Ale
Monstrous 24oz can from Food Lion. Pretty much exactly like the regular Reddís Apple Ale, but with a slightly more candy apple sweetness to it. For 8% itís refreshing. Iíd hate to say I liked it, because it was way more sweet than I would have liked, but it didnít have the metallic, fake taste that I was expecting. Slightly better than average, which is a feat here.

Strange, in that I expected this to be a bit more ale like, but itís more like a mass produced cider. I guess thatís what they were going for. Aroma was apples, flavor was apple juice.

330 ml bottle. Bought in a Jumbo supermarket in Santiago. Really clear color with decent head.little smell, grass, not specially bad. Super waterish and tasteless, i cannot say itís bad since itís like drinking water. Not taste in the beggining or the end. For 4,2% itís actually kind of surprising. Not my kind of thing, but for a girl that doesnít like beer in the beach i guess itís ok. Probably the bad ratings comes from the bias of commercial beer than many americans have.

Pint can dated jun2016 into a chalice. A: Sweet apples and alcohol. Like Booneís farm. S: Pours clear pinkish orange the color of gasoline. Big popping bubbles. T: Tart first note with the full apple sweetness rounding out the flavor. Not as boozy as I expected. M: Slightly more fizzy than it looks. Carbonation works well with the taste. Medium heft. O: Not bad at all but still just a bit too much sweetness as I prefer dry cider.

Steel Reserve Alloy Series Hard Pineapple 211
24 oz can after a sucky day at my even more sucky job. Why am I always drawn to these on days like today.

Pours a Mt. Dew yellow/green. Maybe a smidge more green than yellow.. I had a white head on this. About half finger, no retention of course. No lacing.

Aroma is pineapple. Reminds me of pineapple soda. Or pineapple sherbert. Or pineapple yogurt. Or even pineapple juice.

Tastes more like the syrup from a can of pineapple. Itís quite sticky sweet. Itís pretty good.

Mouthfeel is medium to full, because it does have so much sugar in it. So heavy and sweet. Tasty nonetheless.

Overall, I feel better now knowing that Iíve had my fruit for the day. Ask me, and Iíll say I had a whole pineapple, by myself. And I did, except it wasnít an actuual fruit, it was a...beverage. For a beer, itís bad. Bud for an alcopop, itís outstanding.

Also, have you ever read food labels that say, "May contain traces of peanuts" or whatever. This is similar, the label might read "May contain traces of alcohol." I mean, I canít taste it at all.

I hate my job!!

Pours clear golden color with some effervescence, and a 1/2-finger off-white head. Aroma of apples with a touch of sourness. Body is a touch lighter than medium, lightly syrupy. It has a light fizziness that lingers in the finish. Stereotypical flavor, but very "clean" for lack of a better way to put it. A bit of cidery tartness mixed with apples.

24 oz can on impulse after brutal and long work day.

Pours clear red. Pinkish white head. No lacing, no retention

Aroma is fruit punch. That is all.

Taste is fruit punch and alcohol.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Sticky and sweet. Some alcohol taste, but more in the aftertaste.

Overall, itís a terrible beer, but a great beverage. Goes down easy, works fast. Tastes pretty good. Kinda wish I had another can.

Glad Iím getting in on the ground floor w/ this bullshit. It tastes like all the other Reddís shit, which is a sort of bullshit taste w/ a lingering bullshit finish. This is a clear soda pop that kind of tastes like Smarties candies dissolved in Woodchuck cider. In this case, someone through in some blueberry flavor. I am drinking this intentionally. 3 or so oz sample from a 24oz can, while waiting in line at Perennial for a Side Project release. This beer takes all the offensive flavors typically found in macro lagers, the flavors that are typically subdued and are undetected when you drink ice cold as encouraged, and amplifies them. This is a beer for someone who really likes the way warm Busch tastes, but wants much more of that awful flavor in their face, at a more drinkable temperature. Itís every bit as bad as anyone has ever claimed it to be.
