3.2 Eula Sidra Natural Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed Saturday 22.10.11 I picked this up the Basque region of Northern Spain, July 2011 Pours hazy lemon/gold. This has been one of the better Basque ciders though I have to confess to being just a little disappointed with these ciders by and large they have not really appealed to me at all. Citrussy but not vinegary, some soft apple marks its mark in a style which seems to be dominated by Jif © lemon juice, its ok, in fact its dare I say quite good. 3.1 Eula Sidra Natural Cosecha Familiar Bottled. Pours hazy golden with no head (unless you pour it from a height, the basque way.) Pleasant aroma of apples with a hint of citrus. Nice sour flavor. Quite light on the palate. Nice cider although not fantastic. Wednesday, May 13, 2009 | |
