Can. Goldn clear. Bit grainy, papery malts on noselight citrus, sorta earl gray bergamotty. Med light bodied, bit thin flavoured, ok smooth drinkability. Has a papery bulk character to it, the flavour tho isnt all that bad when you get into it.

Weird cardboard sweet aroma. Same with the taste. Watery body. It’s basically a bad version of water.

Pours clear deep gold with a small off-white head, no lacing. Light aroma of baguette, caramel, candy, citrus. Taste is light sweetness with light carbonation sourness and light bitterness. Medium body, light to medium carbonation, a little stickiness on finish and some alco warmth. A nice, well balanced golden ale; perhaps a tad too sugary aroma.

From can @Hilton Vantaa, Helsinki, Finland. Medium white head, which disappears after a while, light golden colour, clear. Aroma of malts, bit of coffee, also some berries. Lightly sweet with bitter finish, light body, a bit watery, average carbonation. Not the best, but makes a job after a hard day.

Hartwall Polar Monkeys Silverback Strong Ale
Severely underrated. Pours a lovely clear ruby brown with a medium shortlived light tan head. Aroma of black currant, toast, baguette crust, caramel. Perfect balance of medium sweetness and fruity tartness accompanied by light but persisting crispy bitterness. Medium to full body, medium carbonation, smooth oily texture. One of the best fruit beers I’ve tried in a long time (and I dislike fruit beers). The amount of fruity aromas and tartness is just right, not dominating but complementing the rest of the flavors.

Hartwall Hopventure British IPA
Can. Golden body, minimal head. Weak lagery aroma with some faint rosemary (after reading the ingredient list, otherwise would not have even guessed). Watery mouthfeel, mildly spicy taste with ginger, pine and rosemary. Feels more like a crappy ginger ale than a proper IPA. Many "overall" minus points for a totally misleading name - if I had known this was a spiced beer I would have avoided it.

Poirs almost blac with small tan head that goes flat almost immediately. Aroma is very malty sweet, dried dark fruits, roasted malt, brown sugar and molasses. Taste is basically only sweet and bitterness is hiding somewhere behind. Mouthfeel is bit oily and carbonation is quite low. This could easily be an Easter beer.

Kirkas kullankeltainen olut pienellä, osin säilyvällä vaahdolla. Tuoksu makeahkon maltainen ja ruohoisesti humaloitu. Maku maltainen ja pehmeä, hieman katkera loppupuolelta ja aavistus humalan aromiakin jälkimaussa. Bulkkilagereiden parhaimmistoa.

Näitä "bulkkilagereita" on siinä mielessä ikävä reitata, että laskevat tuntuvasti suomikeskiarvoa. Muiden maiden perusbulkkeja tulee kuitenkin juotua selvästi vähemmän, joten hieman tämä vääristää arviota. Urho on kuitenkin perusbulkkien paremmasta päästä.
