imdownthepub	3.4 Bowman Black Drop Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Very dark brown with ruby hue and cream head. Had a bit of a disaster with my 2 chosen breakfast venues on a day out in Leicester so ended up in a Spoons but with the bonus of some winners to be had. This is a roasty, pretty full Mild Ale. wheresthepath	3.3 Bowman Black Drop Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Black with a white head and quite heavy. Black coffee, toasty malts, a little caramel note. Dry and bitter on the first taste, but it mellows as you drink more with some blackberry notes coming through. Aftertaste of bourbon biscuits. Somewhere between a mild and a light stout I thought. Martinsh	3.4 Bowman Swift One Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours gold (between yellow and amber), with a small off-white head. Aroma is primarily oranges with traces of floral hops and bread rolls. It the mouth it is sweet and juicy, but with some underlying bitterness. Flavour has floral hops, tangerine, lemongrass plus hints of toast and berry fruits. Finish is quite fruity. Very quaffable – and quite a lot of flavour for it’s strength. Wednesday, July 26, 2023

Aroma has a lemon pith, grass and dusty grain aroma. Low carbonation, semi drying, light to mid bodied and slick. Quite a subdued flavour with pleasant enough malts and a grassy and citric note.
