The hop character is a bit Underwhelming. Papery and bland. What I suspect a stale or old ipa would be. This is practically an Amber Sunday, August 4, 2019

IndianaRed	3.1 Great Northern Weathervane Series #6: Santo Dios! On Tap at Meridan Growler Guys. Listed here as 7.7% Clear dark nearly black with mahogany/redish edges and highlights. Thin brief wispy tan head. Chocolate in the aromas, more of the same in the flavors, tootsie rolls and some pepper heat. Not over powering but its there and sneaks up on you. A nice balance of pepper heat and sweet chocolate malts. Not bad Wednesday, June 19, 2019

vulcanmeister	3.6 Great Northern Lumber Sexual Scotch Ale Poured from growler at Albertson's in Eagle ID a dark brown with a small tan head. The aroma hints of smokiness with roast grains, molassess, and dark fruit. Smooth soft mouthfeel and flavor of dark fruit, molasses, dark chocolate, and smoke. Nice lingering notes of bitter chocolate and carmel. Very nice sipping beer. A bit of alcohol warming at the end as well. Good stuff. Monday, December 31, 2018

Taste comprises biscuit, candied orange peel, bitter sweet fruits, sugars, fruit loaf. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with dusty hop bitterness. stevoj	3.2 Great Northern Good Medicine Strong Red Ale 12oz can from Moscow Co-op. Dark Amber pour with an initial fluffy head, which Fades down to a skin. Both the aroma and taste favor the malty Style of the American Amber, but with a bit more heft. This version is only at 7% ABV, not quite the 8% that was listed on the main beer. Still a bit stronger than your average Amber. Mouthfeel is nice, it's got a very good weight to it. Mostly malty with mild sweetness. Hops have a little bit of say at the Finish.
