The mouthfeel is lean, and with high carbonation; indeed the infection is confirmed also by the flavor, although not extreme, but it has eaten out all the sugars and hides the caramel and chocolate flavor; the bitterness is correct, but alcohol and some sourness/astringency are more evident. The mouthfeel is quite dry, but the body is not too weak; good flavor of roasted malt, quite straightforward, edging to a Schwarzbier. Dry mouthfeel, with a dry malt flavor and a fresh, delicate and partially aromatic hopping. The final bitterness is correct, it could be better with a more biting final. Koelschtrinker	2.3 Jäger Bräu Maibock Im Antrunk ist das Bier ungewöhnlich säuerlich, was sich auch danach vordergründig auf die Aromen legt. Dadurch wirkt das Bier erfrischend und spritzig aber dennoch merkwürdig und vor allem nicht nach einem Bockbier, eher wie ein Helles mit saurem Stich.
