Scopey	1.6 Barbican Raspberry Bottle from a middle eastern establishment off george at, Aberdeen. It pours clear oily amber with the quickly dissipating head. The aroma is sweet, bright, tangy raspberry vibes, gummy candy and some mighty malt. The taste is crispy initially, sweet, sugary, raspberry candy is the main player here, oily, sticky, tanginess and mighty malt. Light body and moderate, fizzy carbonation. Quite one dimensional, but it's drinkable enough when cold. Like fizzy pop. Saturday, April 20, 2024

Scopey	2.4 Barbican Lemon Bottle from Madina. It pours clear yellow with a dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet, sugary, candied lemon, lemonade and some generic maltiness/biscuit. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, sweet, juicy, tangy, candied lemon, cheap lemonade, white sugar and dull biscuity vibes with a soft, sugared lemon finish. Light body and average carbonation. The aroma is sweet, intoxicating, heady notes of peach essence, white sugar, perfumed, candy and peach ice tea. The taste is crisp, dry, sweet, intoxicating notes of peach essence, peach ice tea, white sugar, candy and let's be honest pretty limited "beer character. Finish is sugar peach pop. Aroma is strawberry syrup, malt and cheap supermarket strawberry ice cream. Sweet tasting. Moderate body, sticky mouthfeel, quite lively carbonation. Sweet, sticky, finish. Aroma is sweet raspberry syrup, malt, slightly worty and dusty. Sweet and clammy taste. Moderate body, very sticky mouthfeel, prickly carbonation. Sweet, sticky, artificial finish. Grumbo	2 Barbican Peach 21/3/2023. Bottle bought at Altima Market, Ipswich. Pours clear pale copper peach colour with a short alsting frothy white head. Aroma is sweet peach, malt, slightly tinny and floral. Very sweet taste, with a bitter edge. Moderate body, oily and watery, started fizzy but lost carbonation quickly. dragnet101	1.1 Barbican Premium Malt Bottle from Beers of Europe. My first beer from UAE and I have low expectations on this one. Pours a dark gold with small white head which faded very quickly. Aroma of very sweet malts, some cardboard. Taste is sweet grains, light brown sugars, light toastiness, no hops. Reminds me of a Kvass but without any malt depth. Its a malt flavoured soda. Dreadful.
