shigadeyo	3.4 Mulholland Rye LaNoir 1/24/2008: The beer is hazy/cloudy; tawny brown in color. Creamy beige head. Aroma has hints of dark grain. Flavor contains toasted malt, coffee, traces of fruity rye. Finishes dry and is slightly dry overall. Ultra smooth and creamy texture due to the nitrogen. brentfeesh	3.7 Mulholland Runkle Red Enjoyed at the Brewery. Copper pour with a light white head-a bit hazy. Lightly sweet aroma with a crisp fruit presence. A nicely bitter brew. Earthy and spicy hops with a decent body for the hops to be displayed. Just a touch of toffee at the finish. Dry mouth feel and medium in body. Certainly not what I would describe as a 2IPA but it makes for a nice American Strong. Enjoyable. My favorite one there at the time. Monday, June 9, 2008
Rogueone	3.5 Mulholland Highlander Sample @ brewpub. Pours a dark amber/gold, white head. Smells of earthy sweet malts, a trace of peat smoke, and tastes of butterscotch malt. Light-bodied, relatively smooth. Not bad. Thursday, May 1, 2008
Rogueone	3.3 Mulholland Raider Belgian Brown Sample @ brewpub. Pours dark amber color. Smells like sweet, spiced apple cider. Highly carbonated, malty and caramel-y. Quick spicy finish. One of their better brews. Thursday, May 1, 2008
Rogueone	2.6 Mulholland Saison Dumonde Sample @ brewpub: Pours clear pale yellow, no head. Smelled of buttered, sauteed asparagus gone cold. Tasted of mildly carbonated honey and spices, but damn those cold asparagus undertones. Thursday, May 1, 2008
Rogueone	2.8 Mulholland Lighkt Sample @ brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow. Was expecting this to be crisp, but it was not. Was a bit sweet for me, estery, banana notes. Lightly bitter on the tongue. Thursday, May 1, 2008
Rogueone	3.4 Mulholland Toronodo Dubh On nitro @ brewpub. Originally brewed exclusively for St. Patrick’s Day, this brew was so popular they have kept it on nitro for months now. Pours a rich, deep brown, bordering on black and creamy Jamocha-shake looking head. Aroma of roasted chocolate malts. Tastes of burnt coffee, chocolate undertones, and a dry, toasted oatmeal finish that does not linger on the palate for long. Overall, not bad. Thursday, May 1, 2008
Rogueone	2.7 Mulholland Perfect Storm Vanilla Framboise On tap @ brewpub. Pours amber, smells like crushed up pink Smarties candy and butterscotch pudding. I wasn’t getting too much vanilla out of this, I got a very sweet and sour taste from this, like raspberry limeade. Not my thing. Thursday, May 1, 2008

ogglethorp	2.7 Mulholland Shocker Dubbel On tap. Pours a dark amber color with a small beige colored head. Aroma is light caramel, clove, floral hops. Flavor is again caramel, light clove, and floral hops. Palate is medium bodied, meidium carbonation, finished on the sweet side. No this shouldn’t be your first branded beer. ogglethorp	2.9 Mulholland Perfect Storm Vanilla Framboise on tap. Pours a cloudy, dull, red/pink color with a small off white/pink head. Aroma is raspberries, vanilla, light malt. Flavor is vanilla, light raspberry, malt. Palate is meidum bodied, medium to light carbonation finished lightly tart and dry. For me the vanilla was a little dominating and masked any raspberry flavor. It also lacked carbonation and the tartness I was hoping for. I’m not sure lambic is an accurate description of this beer. edden	3.6 Mulholland Rye LaNoir On tap @ Mulholland. Interesting dirty tan-brown body (similar in color to dried out dirt) and creamy. Body was really gradated when poured which made the beer interesting to look at. Nose is malty. Similar to a Guinness except you could taste the rye character. Finish was long and bitter. Dogbrick	3.2 Mulholland Biere DeGuard Sample at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a thin bone white head that diminishes quickly. Slick patches of lacing. The aroma is a mixture of yeast, peppery spices, Saaz hops and hay. Medium-bodied with tart fruit, yeast and various barnyardy flavors. The finish is mildly spicy and malty with a light leafy hops aftertaste. Interesting, if not great, overall. Wednesday, January 16, 2008
Dogbrick	3.9 Mulholland Runkle Red Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a deep amber color with a medium thin ivory-colored head that dissipates steadily. Minimal lacing on the glass. Huge floral aroma with hops and malt behind it. Medium-bodied and moderately bitter with floral hops, malt and caramel flavors. Light spicyness is underlying as well. The finish remains floral and hoppy and leaves a lingering bitterness behind. Enjoyable all around. Wednesday, January 16, 2008

Top ring of lacing with spots beneath. The aroma consists of nutmeg and other spices plus some yeast and hops. Medium-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Flavors of toasted malt and caramel along with yeast and spices. The finish is spicy and relatively short. Above average overall. Wednesday, January 16, 2008

Bready malt and rye aroma with some spice in the background. Medium-bodied with flavors of grain, malt and rye with touches of nuts and hops. The finish has a toasted malt and rye character and leaves a mild lingering spice aftertaste. Not on the same level as Founders but pretty good overall. Wednesday, January 16, 2008

Mildly hoppy aroma with touches of spice. Light-bodied with a lightly spiced hops flavor along with touches of malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering hops aftertaste. Flavor is nicely hopped (fir tree) and balanced out with some caramel malts. Finish is bitter, in a good way. Of the four beers I’ve tried by Mulhollands, this is my favorite.
