Definitely one of the better IPAs Iíve had from WI, and pretty much all of the ones Iíd put above it didnít exist when I first had it.

Red Eye Lemongrass Rye 2.1
Tap at OF. Pale orange-yellow-tan body. Steady, thin creamy white head. The aroma is really unappetizing, buttery rye. Probably the worst beer Iíve had from Red Eye. Absolute fail. The lemongrass attempts to give it some balance, but can hardly rescue it. Buttery, slick. Insipid, lifeless body.

Red Eye Bloom Wit 3.1
Pours a hazy yellow with a moderate off white head. Aroma is bubblegum and hay. Flavor is the same, with some coriander, wheat, and maybe a touch of orange. Very drinkable. Medium mouthfeel

Red Eye Scarlet 7 Dubbel 3.3
pour was a murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma has not of dark fruit and a strong candy sugar. Flavor was decent as well with some fig and a nice helping of candy sugar. Some alcohol shows in this one but this is still a decent dubbel.

Red Eye Hop Stinger 69 3.1
Tap at Old Fashioned. Filtered orange-tan body. Respectable, steady off-white head. Sort of a buttery, grainy backdrop. Earthy off tones. The flavor is odd and bitter astringent. Not much finesse, weak end product.

Red Eye S.H.R. American Amber - Horizon 3.4
Draft. Poured lighter amber with a nice off-white head. The aroma picked up sweeter nutty and fruity notes with mild floral and grassy accents. The flavor found more of the fruity malts plus caramel and nutty notes at the core, with fresh fruity and floral bitterness around.. finished sweet with a nice bitter kick. Lighter-bodied with moderate carbonation.. fresh and enjoyable.

Red Eye Thrust IPA 3.2
On tap at the brewery. Just an average IPA. What you typically get at a local taphouse. More malty and bitter than fruity and hoppy.

Red Eye Ludwigís Fist 3.5
Draft. Amber pour, if you blended an ipa with an oktoberfest this is maybe what you get, a hoppy imperial lager that isnít too sweet, fairly dry actually.

Red Eye Thrust IPA 3.3
Draft. A pretty nice ipa, not super dry but a ncie bitterness, fruity citrus hops, some spice and malt.

Red Eye Revolution Pils 3
Draft. Alongside the goji pils. This one is more diacetyl-driven and seems hoppier, it seems like they share the same base beer but might be slightly different ages. While it has diacetyl it isnít poor.

Red Eye Charlatan Imperial Stout 3.5

Red Eye Juicy Cobra 3.4
Draft at Red Eye. Poured clear, light-medium orange with a sticky beige head. The aroma picked up juicy pine, grassy notes, and some redder fruits over a caramel base.. very green and very fresh. The flavor found bitter pine and fruity notes on the tip of the tongue, with semi-sweet caramel and biscuity malts following.. floral and peppery bitterness joined for the warm finish. Medium-bodied and very bitter on the palate.. a little sharp at times, but solid overall.

Red Eye Firewater 3.4
Sample @ bar, growler @home. Caramel/toffee sweetness with a little campfire smoke.Color of weak coffee with minimal head. Not to heavy at first taste (for a dunkler) light pine at the finish. This needs to be enjoyed at 50 degrees, at a colder temp you donít pick up the flavor says well. Overall pretty good, a little different beer with the smoke. Tasty

Growler shared by Bob, thanks! Pours a clear amber red with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has musty sweet chocolate and sour red fruits with a hint of vanilla backing. Flavor has sweet chocolate and sour cherries with backing vanilla. A bit muddled overall.

Red Eye Wiskansan Tornado Brown IPA 3.7
To at the Old Fashioned. Deep Ruby brown color with of white head. This was a very surprising and very tasty beer. Great aroma of pine and juicy hops balanced by roasted malt. This was very tasty, sweetness from crystal malts and some roasted character balance and complement the pine and floral and flavorful hops. Well balanced not very bitter, medium to light body. Very drinkable would definitely get again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at OF. Deep amber-brown body. Thin, steady beige head. Big, sweet, malty Brown Ale. Creamy brown malts, touches of toffee, brown sugar, caramel. The hops check in, give it some nice balance. Not quite World Class, but a very enjoyable beer.

Red Eye Wiskansan Tornado Brown IPA 3.2
Taster on tap at GTMW. Maybe should be listed as a black IPA? Half hazy red brown color. Thin khaki head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of slick, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Dark fruity flavor, some nutty malt, light coffee roast. Some earthy hop, but less than Iíd like, more malt dominated. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Decent hoppy brown ale, but I was hoping for more from this. A bit too malty / sweet for me.

Red Eye Black Eye 9 - Dopplesticke Altbier 3.4
Tap at OF. Amber-caramel brown body, filtered. Thin white head. Chewy brown-amber beer. Pretty true to style I suppose, big malt tones. The hops are a little soapy and not to style, not offering much balancing bitterness. OK, but not so remarkable. Chewy, heavy, sweet malts. OK.

Red Eye Dyna-Mighty Wheat 3.5
[Tap] Tried this one on tap at the brewpub in March. Dark golden pour has a haze to it. Lots of white foam on top. Wheat malts and sweet yeasty notes in the nose. Taste includes grassy hops, sweet cereal grains and a crisp finish. Milky texture to it. Refreshing, but has enough body to make it good.

Red Eye Jupiter Belgian ESB 3.4
[Tap] Tried at the brewpub in March. Clear amber color with a foamy white head. Nose is of sweet grains, Belgian yeast and light English hops. Flavors of grass, yeasty esters, tea bags, caramel, rye and light sweet fruits thoughout. This is a pretty nice beer and it comes together better than the previous sentence would suggest.

Red Eye Black Eye 7 - Tragically Hopped Double IPA 3.3
[Tap] On tap at the brewpub in March. Deep shade of amber in color. Sticky sweetness and lots of citrus up front in the aroma. Heavy grapefruit hoppiness and oily pine sap in the taste. Fusel alcohol is very pronounced in the taste as well. The intense hoppiness, alcohol and malt character seems very disjointed here.

Red Eye Tartan Toddy Scotch Ale 4
Draft at brewpub. Perhaps I tasted an updated recipe from the others who have had this so far because this was my favorite beer of my visit... Poured clear mahogany. Small to medium beige head, lasting. A nice rich aroma, caramel and marshmallow stand out. Just right sweetness. Flavor was also delicately sweet, smoothly integrated peat, rich caramel. Medium to full body. Soft. Easy alcohol warmth. Light smokiness. Light bitterness. Seamless. Really nicely done. Surprised previous scores are so low..
