At the Slunce ve Skle fest 2015 in Plzen-CZ. On tap. Pours a semi clear golden color, bright with a creamy white head. Nose: very soft and pleasant aroma of bread, yeast, lavender. Mouth: medium carbonation, fresh peppery after taste, solid Czech classic! Bravo!

Bottle 1l (PET), many thanks to Vallun. A bit cloudy, light amber colored. AROMA- malts, apples, bubble gum, honey, grain, woody hops. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, malts and honey, grain, woody hops. Medium bodied.
Tasty beer, probably the best honey beer I’ve tasted.

Železná Ruda Pašerák 13° Medové Pivo 3.3
Bottle (many thanks to Vallun!); light orange hazy body, higher white head. Interesting sweet aroma of honey, malt, caramel, nuts, hints of bubble gum and apples. Taste is moderately sweet, slightly bitter finish. Again honey, caramel, grains, apples; notes of roasted sunflower seeds and propolis. Light to medium body, medium carbonation.
Very tasty, honey is very well incorporated.

Bottle (thanks to Vallun!). Slightly hazy amber body, higher white head. Sweet aroma of malts, bubble gum, caramel, wood. Taste is sweet with hints of bitterness. Bubble gum, apples, apricot jam, wood. Thin body, medium carbonation.
Empty, but not bad.

Not bad, but nothing special.

very dark beer which had a light tan head that never fully disappeared. Sticking my nose into the glass, the overwhelming aroma was Italian roasted coffee, which was complemented in the mouth by the gentlest chocolate flavour, which made the beer smooth in the mouth and satisfying.

draught at Café Charlotte in Železná Ruda. Hazy golden yellow, white head. Shy aroma of honey. Malty base, shy hints of honey, quite hoppy in the lingering finish, with a nice herbal touch. Not sweet at all, the honey stays in the background.

The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, coffee, and roasted malt as well as light notes of chocolate, leading to a bitter and lightly roasted finish. The mouthfeel is sparkling.

(Draught) Pours dirty brown. The aroma is light caramelly and coffee/chocolaty malty with spicy and floral hops to back it up. Undertones of fruits and sweet dark berries. The flavour is coffee/chocolaty malt with bitter, floral and grassy hops. Hints of salt liquorice and sal ammoniac in the finish. Some berries are present in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is spicy, light crisp and light dry. Medium bodied.

From tap at Modrý Abbé, blindtasting beer #9. Pours dark and unclear brown with a dense, creamy and light tan head. Dry roasted malt aroma and mild coffee note. Flavour is light liqourice and roasted malt. Nice balance and mix with a light bitterness into the finish.6-4-7-4-14=3.5

RBESG2008: 1.5 L bottle. Pours hazy brown with a slowly diminishing tan head. Aroma is mild butterish and roasted. Flavour holds a nice roasted malt flavour and a light butterish note towards the finish. Ends with a light acidic roasted note.7-3-7-3-13=3.3

Pours almost black with slight red edges. A wonderful, big, creamy, light-beige head on top. Good aroma of coffee, sweet malts, roasted and light chocolate. Fine, light mouthfeel, fitting the style. Flavour is sweet, but never too much. Some notes of cold coffee. Pleasantly mild beer.
