kapusil	3.1 Rotburger Meggyes Barna 1l PET bottle. Brown body with a very thin light brown head. The aroma and taste are dominated by sour cherries, but a bit of caramel and cocoa shines though it. Sweet, but not cloyingly and also a bit tart. Sessionable, correct beer. Monday, May 27, 2019
kapusil	2.9 Rotburger Szűretlen Búzasör 1l PET bottle from the brewery. Very hazy dark orange body with a huge yolk head. The aroma starts with a bit of banana then bread, grains and spicy hops take over. Taste of bread, grains a bit of peach and spicy hops again. Less fruity and more bitter than a regular weizen. promontor	3.9 Rotburger Világos 1 l pet bottle from the Rotburger brewpub. (Opened on the night of Hungary qualifying for Euro 2016, first appearence on a major tournament for 30 years, so maybe this influenced the judgement a bit...) Starts with small and quickly vanishing head, but the aroma (honey, bit of vanilla) compensates for the poor head. Taste is malty bittersweet a bit more on the sweet side. Some simple but nice grassy/spicy taste is also detetctable . Very creamy palate, I like that a lot. Nice moderate bitter aftertaste. Simple but well composed, very nice beer and extremely good in Hungarian standards! Sunday, November 15, 2015
kapusil	3.4 Rotburger Barna 1L PET bottle. Reddish dark brown body, light brown head. The aroma is mostly caramelly escorted by some cocoa and dark fruits. Taste of bread, cocoa, dark fruits and caramel. Light medium body, low carbonation. The finish has sone floral hops to it. Nice beer. Thursday, March 12, 2015
kapusil	2.7 Rotburger Szűretlen 2l PET bottle from the brewpub. Hazy deep golden body, long lasting white head. The aroma is not so nice for the first sniff. Ig’s heavy on sulfur and cooked vegetables. Although if you let it breath for a while the bad aromas mostly disappear and leave a bready, aroma with notes of grassy hops and a hint of metal. The taste id OK. It’s grainy and bready with a bit of floral hops. Easy drinking beer. Too bad for the initial aroma. Without that this beer would be much better. Sunday, March 8, 2015
Marko	2.4 Rotburger Szűretlen At Serpa, Zichy ut. 4 - a Rotburger outlet. Went in hoping for Hexe and Teufel, got this. Oh well. Misty yellow body. Sourish yeasty, husky aroma. Same in the taste, husky malt base, yeasty throughout, strange notes pop up here & there. Only very mild herbal bitterness in the bg. Carbonation bite? Feels like a throwback to the pre-2010s Hungarian brewing scene, still holding on throughout the beer revolution. But maybe I’m being slightly unfair - some interesting flavors did show up underneath the bad off flavors. Unless I can get it completely fresh, no more for me - but if fresh, I’ll be glad to rerate it then, and will be glad to try the rest of their range at Serpa next time I’m in Budapest. mattphilips	3.1 Rotburger Szűretlen Rotburger, Pilisvörösvár. Szűretlensége folytán szinte alig látszik át, narancsos arany színe van, habja pedig hófehér, enyhén krémes és közepesen kitartó. Nagyon meglepett ez a sör, mert abszolút más jelleget produkált, mint a szűrt változat, érdekes. A malátát csak nyomokban érezni, a füves komlót viszont annál inkább, ugyanez igaz ízére is, nem teljesen értem magát a jelenséget, de nem bánom, finom! Messze nem olyan jó, mint pl. a táborfalvai, vagy éppen a bors szűretlen világosa, de megnyugtat a tudat, hogy egy olyan olcsó sört iszok, ami finom és adalékanyagoktól mentes. Az egyetlen baj, hogy messze van, nehéz hozzájutni. Sörözőt a fővárosba! Monday, August 8, 2011
mattphilips	2.9 Rotburger Világos Rotburger, Pilisvörösvár. Áttetsző halvány arany színű sör, közepes nagyságú és közepesen kitartó kissé krémes, hófehér habbal a tetején. Illata malátás és élesztős, semmi meglepő. Íze is inkább malátás, édeskésebb, ebben is az élesztő érződik inkább, a komló szinten egyáltalán nem, de azért egy eléggé tisztességes kis sör ez. mattphilips	3.1 Rotburger Barna 50 literes hordóból egy privát bulin. Sötétbarna színű főzet, kevés piszkosfehér habbal, ami közepesen kitartó. Illata pörkölt malátás és élesztős, íze hasonló, pörkölt jegyekben gazdag, kevés komlós keserűséggel. Egy keserédes, kissé vizes és csak szolidan szénsavas barna ez a vörösvári, arról nem volt infóm, hogy mekkora az alkoholtartalma, de ha annak is 6-os volt, akkor remekül elrejtették, ami meglepő, mert nem volt éppen egy testes alkotás. Így elsőre (értsd: 4-5 korsó), egészen finom volt, de majd a helyszíni kóstolás lesz igazán mérvadó. Thursday, July 21, 2011

tonycaviar	1.8 Rotburger Világos A Rotburger elsőre egész jó, hozza a szoksásos „bajor házi sör” formát, helyén van a teste, a szénsavja is oké, viszont az aromák lassan valamiféle karikatúrára kezdenek emlékeztetni. Ami elsőre izgalmas, friss szénásságnak tűnt, a második pohárban már konkrét lószaggá büdösül – pláne, ha az ember beleszagol a sörtől frissen megürült pohárba. Valami oknál fogva felbillen a kompozíció, talán a komló a hibás, nehezen tudom megállapítani – mindenesetre a lóaroma már nekem is egy kicsit sok. Wednesday, October 13, 2010
inbirraveritas	2.2 Rotburger Szűretlen I had it since a half year, those time it left good impressions in me. Yesterday I taste it again at the berwpub and it was unfortunately hard to drink... Poured a very hazy yellow with a small white head. Smell was yeasty. It began crisp, flavour was malty. The middle was dominated by heavy sourish effects, the finish was acid with a light herbal aftertaste. Refreshed etc., but I think that brew was just over due date, leastwise I hope it... armando629	3.5 Rotburger Szűretlen Tap at the brewpub. Poured hazy, deep amber with a foamy off white head that diminishes to a small one with laces on the mug’s wall. Yeast and grains, bready malt, fine herbal hops in the aroma. Balanced body with smooth mouthfeel. Fine malt and some caramel, honeyish base with a correct yeast flavor, nice floral-herbal hops in the finish. You mast slip it again and again because of balanced aftertaste. Pleasant, good! judasbeer	3 Rotburger Világos Clear golden with diminishing fizzy head. Medium sweet malt, nuts, moderate sour yeast in the aroma. More balanced flavor than the dunkel one. Medium sweet grains, nutmeat, with subtle crisp, grassy hops and slight acidic finish. Light bodied with fizzy character. Better than the average Hungarian microbrews. Sunday, April 12, 2009
judasbeer	2 Rotburger Barna Dark brown with fluffy beige head. Dominating sour yeast with slight roasted malt aroma. The sour yeast hides all the great underlying "dunkel flavors". I’ve tasted this beer several times ago and ( both draught and bottled) it was delicate, but this time is rough, and very hard to rate detachedly. Sunday, April 12, 2009
