Gammerbeer Bia Golden
Gammerbeer Bia Golden 32000dong as the Gold & Black were out I had to order this. Nice clear gold with a dense head of foam. The nose is grainy sweet, they taste is similar with earthy hops but slight diacetyl. Passable for Vietnam I guess. Without that diacetyl thisíd be pretty good.

Spina direttamente al brewpub. Scura con schiuma piuttosto persistente. Deludente, una birra insapore...

Reddish dark-brown. Decent light brown head. Some nuttiness, metallic notes in the aroma. Thin, homebrewed metallic notes, some light gasoline underpinning. Maybe some maltiness. A bit thin, though.

Gammerbeer Bia Gold
Lighter, brighter gold than the "Golden". Just as sparkly with better head retention. Worty, grainy aroma. Kind of watery - this reveals a wortiness that comes across bland.

Deep gold colour, nice sparkle and light head. Malty accent in the nose with light spiciness. Malt accent, light hop with very little bitterness. OK but a bit light.

Gammerbeer Bia Đen (Stout)
Draft @ brewpub. Dark brown with tan head, decent retention. Aroma is thin and minerally with faint bland husky dark malt character in background. Thin palate with nice carbonation. Flavors are nice. Chocolate malt, roasted malt flavors. Mild coffee, mild chocolate. My favorite of the Gammerbeer bunch.

Gammerbeer Bia Golden
Draft @ brewpub. Deeper copper color than the gold with lots of bubbles but head retention is not as good as the gold. Similar aroma as gold is minerally, clean and astringent. Smooth palate with slightly bigger body than the gold but still on the thin side. Has more malt character and is generally a better beer than its counterpart but still mediocre and thin.

Gammerbeer Bia Gold
Draft @ brewpub. Light copper, a shade lighter than the golden. Good head retention. Lots of rising bubbles. Nice pure aroma. Astringent and well-hopped. Balanced with pleasant metallic notes. The palate is unfortunately thin and watery and the flavors donít deliver after the promising aroma. Has a nice mineral character thought and is fairly quaffable.

Gammerbeer Bia Đen (Stout)
Draught at Gammerbeer, Hanoi. Dark brown with small tanned head. Sweet malt, buttery, marmite, soapy aromas and flavour. This is really hard to drink. A seriously flawed beer. I didnít finish the glass.

Gammerbeer Bia Golden
Draught at Gammerbeer, Hanoi. Golden with small white head. Sweet malt and grassy hops. Not a lot of difference between this and the gold. Low bitterness and not much body. Slightly better than your mass produced lager.

Gammerbeer Bia Đen (Stout)
On tap at the pub. Pours dark with tan head. Not much aroma, decent malt taste, not much aftertaste. Much more a dunkel or schwarzbier than a stout.

Gammerbeer Bia Golden
Draught@brewpub. Golden color, decent creamy white head. Light sweet brewing mash aroma. Sweet malty, a bit more alcoholic than "Gold". Aftertaste is malty and a bit alcoholic. Not much own character, but a kind of German-type "Export" beer style.

Gammerbeer Bia Gold
Draught@brewpub. My first beer in Vietnam. Clear golden color, decent white head. Light hoppy, sweet maltyness in the aroma. Light palate, light bitterness and brewing mash sweetness. Watery finish. Clean, a bit sweet, low bitterness, typical brewpub lager without any personal character.

Gammerbeer Bia Gold
Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale golden, small creamy head. Very light hay aroma. Sweetish and very light bodied. Slim and clean with a touch of apples. I assume itís an atempt of making a Czech style 10-degree lager, but it ended up too thin and hard. Finishes with low bitterness. A beer for mass consumption that is too edgy to really fit the purpose.

Gammerbeer Bia Đen (Stout)
Draught at the brewpub. Dark reddish brown, creamy head. Lightly roasty and soapy. Medium sweet with rather light body and creamy mouthfeel. Notes of coffee, but overall itís a very careful beer. Some tobacco and coffee is the last impression, together with a slight metallic edge.

Gammerbeer Bia Golden
Draught at the brewpub. Clear deep golden, fair sized head creamy head. Light oily saaz hop aroma. Sweet and medium bodied, with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Somewhat sugary. Typical Czech style lager, but leaning more towards the more commercial mainstream versions. Finishes with fairly low bitterness.
