Wedge "Sticke" Altbier 3
Draft at brewpub. Pours brown with a white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Lots of caramel malt on the nose. Dry on the tongue with a solid amount of bitterness on the finish. Not my favorite style but tasty nonetheless. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wedge Vadim Bora 3.9
On tap at source. Itís unapologetically big, dark and bold. Fairly smooth with a full, satisfying mouthfeel. Raspberries come into play nicely at the end- not overpowering but certainly apparent. Nice tart addition. Still a fairly sweet overall impression but well done. Would drink this all winter.

Wedge Community Porter 3.8
On tap at source. Really decent porter. All the right dark beer flavors- maple adds a nice mellow sweetness- still hoppy enough to be balanced. Big beer and somewhat boozy- 2015. Pretty full/ slick mouthfeel. Perfect for cold weather sipping outside.

Draft. Aroma of pepper and high-register citrus. Flavors of lime, lemon, and something a teeny bit sweet and almost melon-like. Total winner.

Wedge Creature: Belgian-Style Imperial IPA 3.6
On tap at Wedge. Was expecting better. Decent but not outstanding. Pretty light pour and somewhat muddled flavors. Almost too much going on. Perhaps a bit grassy and yeasty for the style. Pretty smooth going down- not overly boozy. Had heard so much about it, was expecting better. In all fairness will give it another chance.

Wedge Paynes Pale Ale 2.8
Pours clear golden with a nice eggshell head. Aroma has a note of slightly charred hops - not much else. Flavor has malty and hoppy tones, thatís it. Texture has OK body and little fizz. Fine to slake oneís thirst in this climate-change heat.

Cybercat
Wedge Hellesbock 3
Pours clear golden with a fairly thick eggshell head. Aroma is mainly malty, not strong but still promising. Flavor starts out malty and then trots slightly sour fruity and subtle hoppy tones across the tongue. Mouthfeel is about average in the fizz and body departments. What the helles, down a crater.

Cybercat
Wedge Julian Price Pilsner 3.2
Pours clear golden with a nice ivory head. Crisp aroma is malty and a little fruity, not strong but still inviting a taste. Crisp, malty flavor is very refreshing - will definitely take the edge off a sweltering day. Subtle hoppy and pear notes peep through. Mouthfeel is fairly fizzy, and former than most pilses I have tried. Worth the price, Julian.

Cybercat
Wedge Strong Scotch Ale 3.9
Pours translucent mahogany with a fairly thick light tan head. Malty aroma has notes of cloves and cinnamon. Bold favor teases the palate with toasted malt, caramel, clove and nutty tones. Body is average and not very fizzy, but leaves a flavorful finish. Get your Scotch on.

Cybercat
Wedge Iron Rail IPA 3.7
Pours clear golden ambe with a fairly thick eggshell head. Aroma is not strong, but quite hoppy and woody. Flavor is intensely hoppy and evergreen with malty and subtle fruity undertones. Firm, fizzy body leaves a strongly hoppy finish. Get on this rail!

Cybercat
Wedge Derailed iHemp Ale 3.3
Pours transparent dark copper with a fairly thick buff head. Malay aroma is not strong and not promising, but offers a little malt. Flavor, happily, provides far more: malty, woody, hoppy and caramel tones. Could that be a hint of hemp? Sorry, they used only the seeds. Firm body has some fizz, and leaves a nice woody finish.

Cybercat
Wedge Witbier 3.8
Pours hazy, opaque golden with a thin eggshell head. Aroma has wheaty, lemony and yeasty notes. Refreshing flavor has a wheaty core that supports lemon, malty and yeasty tones. Firm body has fizz to spare, and leaves a wheaty and lemon finish. Sharpen your wits, and bottoms up!

Wedge Iron Rail IPA 3.6
Draft. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate complex hop aroma. Medium body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet hop flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a change of pace solid beer.

Wedge Super Saison 3.5
Belgium style all that has a very citrus finish. Light golden complexion with limited carbonation makes for a decent beer sipping experience. Beer has a very complicated taste structure ... At times you can taste orange and lemon but at other times you can taste the hops. Very unique beer that is a tribute to the art of Belgian brewing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wedge Community Porter 3.6
Tap @ Admiral. Deep brown with tan head. Smells a tad chocolaty and a little roasty. Starts sweet, then roasty, then dry. Heavier than some porters on the carbonation. Bit I still like it.

Tasted on 7/28/12 on draft at the brewpub with Erika. Pours hazy dark yellow with an average white head that leaves thin lace. The nose is bread malt with some spicy resin hops. The flavor is much the same with the hops showing nicely bitter and some light bread malt playing backbone. The body is light with average carbonation and a long spicy and quite bitter hops finish.

Wedge Iron Rail IPA 3.5
Tasted on 7/28/12 on draft at the brewpub with Erika. Pours hazy dark orange with a thick white head that leaves average lace. The nose is spiced, caramelized orange peel, pine resin, and some caramel malt, with the earthy yeast aroma coming through nicely. The flavor is a nice balance of all of the above, a bit maltier than I expected with some bread. The body is medium with just below average carbonation and a long spiced orange peel bitter hops finish.

Wedge Strong Scotch Ale 4
On tap at the brewery, this pours light mahogany-amber into the glass with a huge frothy four–finger head that reduces to thick chunky ring lacing. The nose is wonderful, smoky peat and of sweet caramel malt. The nitro pour allows for a very smooth palate, with flavors of wonderfully smoked peat, lightly toasted grains, toffee and caramel, and finishes with a woody whiskey barrel essence. Sweet, smoked and complex, superbly gorgeous here! Love the rauchbier integration!! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Gorgeously put together, this is a great IIPA from Wedge. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flavor: It is fairly sweet, but not cloying, solidly complex, and rather flavorful
Palate: This beer has a medium body, a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel, and spicy finish

Appearance: This one pours an unclear orange, with a small white head, and streaky lace.
Flavor: The taste is bitter citrus and rind, thereís a light sweetness as well.
Palate: It has a medium body, a softer carbonation, and long, dry finish.

Flavor: It has a somewhat sweet flavor, similar to the nose, a mild bitterness balances it.
Palate: Medium bodied, with a rather creamy, smooth, and clean feel, and a soft carbonation.

Draft at brewpub. Pours light brown with a thin white head. Leaves some solid lacing. Thereís some citrus on the nose. A bit of floral hop flavor on the tongue. Hides itís 8% well. I wouldnít describe this as a west coast IPA since it doesnít kick me in the balls with hoppiness or bitterness.
