ccex	3.1 Chicago Ramblin' Reck Pours a cleard dark amber/red with small off-white head. Not much to smell. Aroma has roasted grain and some nuts. The finsh makes the taste end up on the bitter side. brokensail	3.3 Chicago Sundown Stout On tap @ Chicago Four Queens. Black with a dense tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, and some earthy hops. A hint of cocoa in there as well as a touch of ash. Get just a touch of dark fruits to it as well. The nitro kind of dulls things as well and leads to a watery mouthfeel. Not bad, but not my favorite. Wednesday, March 30, 2022
brokensail	2.7 Chicago Weizenheimer Wheat On tap @ Chicago Four Queens. Slightly hazed straw colored beer with a white head. More of typical brewpub wheat beer than an actual hefeweizen, but there is a bit of the latter in there as well. Some bread, cracker, and toasted grains. Mild grass note, a bit of fruity esters like apple, some bubblegum, and a light spiciness. Eh, not my thing. Wednesday, March 30, 2022

Some caramel, mandarin orange, and just general sweet citrus note. Mild bitterness of pine and citrus rind. Kind of a grassy and herbal finish. Not bad, but kind of an old school IPA. It has some nice toasted nuts, mild roast, coffee, and a hint of cocoa. Some earthy hops and just a touch of bitterness on the finish. Decent enough mouthfeel and sweetness. Wednesday, March 30, 2022

Hop character is pretty mild, but there is a mild grass and earth note to it. Mild bitterness on the finish. Kind of a grainy aftertaste and some husky notes. Wednesday, March 30, 2022

Some sweet bread, Frosted Flakes, and a light ester quality of apple and pear. A bit of butterscotch in the background. Minimal hop character and some husky bitterness on the finish. tmoreau	3.5 Chicago Sundown Stout On tap at Chicago Brewing Co. in The Fours Queens, LV. as a 14 oz. serving to plastic showing a black/brown hue, with a fairly creamy & persistent layer of tan froth, and sheeting lace on the sides. The nose was roasted, malty, moderate coffee, and slight cocoa that contributed to the mild mocha edge. Close to medium bodied, with low carbonation, the taste was similar, adding some creaminess, roasted & earthy bitterness, and a bit of dryness to the finish. A little flat & watery, but a fair Irish Stout rendering. Sunday, June 21, 2020

NachlamSie	3.4 Chicago Weizenheimer Wheat Pint at the brewpub/casino thing. I was really sure this was an American wheat. If it was advertised as such I'd have no qualms at all with the beer. There's a good wheat character with lightly fruity notes. Body is good. That hallmark banana/clove quality of German wheat ale yeast isn't found in this beer. Aroma of toffee, light chocolate, malt, nut, syrup and bread. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium plus body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Liked it more than most. Aroma has roasted malts, dark chocolate, a slight milky touch. Low carbonation, fine dry and fairly oily mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet caramel malts, roasted notes, hazelnuts, cocoa and dark chocolate. Balanced with the roasted malts (like a Guinness). Solid and drinkable. Wednesday, June 13, 2018

Aroma has fresh citrussy hops, peach, grapefruit. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, quite crisp, grapefruity hops, citrus, oranges, peach.
